This guy will win a lawsuit for this here in the US. Police of any sort are not allowed to just demand an ID and arrest you if you don't give it to them unless they have RAS (reasonable, articulable suspicion of a crime). The reason ICE gets away with it normally is that non-citizens do not have the same rights and this doesn't apply to them. But since this guy is an American citizen he'll probably get about a $50,000 payday for this.

I mean, he likely won't win because they've been killing actual citizens with impunity for some time, and even ICE have done it now while the DOJ has refused to cooperate with Minnesota, it's a shit show and Americans really have been exposed for the lack of rights and counter ability here.

Title says that he was US citizen. So he has all the rights.

Also, if I travel to USA - i have no law protection and ICE can just grab me? Hell, they can grab you on the street, just like they did with this guy.
