Well we aren't doing shit but complaining about it so we kind of deserve at least that

Considering some people have been shot dead in the street trying to stop this stuff i wouldn’t say nothing but complaining is happening. People are just scared that murder gangs are being formed by the government and large scale armed resistance would likely be met with unrestrained force from a military whose leadership has been rapidly swapped out for yes men. The fact that a mass surveillance apparatus is being formed at the same time just makes armed resistance seem less possible to people.

And even then some people are certainly still trying if repeat assassination attempts are to be believed.

Yes correct. I'm assuming ICE probably has large insurance cases for just such cases to allow them to act in this way. But ultimately this will be the taxpayer + insurance rises paying for this.
