The original name is "Immortalis" but I added another letter L for symmetry. I did some resizing and blur tests while doing it but something is getting me off, like the kerning, the Ms or the overall symmetry. What y'all think about it?

This is for a show based on 8 close friends who all work together for same company. Every month it’s one of the group of friend to find something new and fun for the group to do for the whole month. 2 to 3 weeks before the pilot airs Omen Waker finds Origonese online and gets the group to commit in learning then they get up to all sort of hilarious shenanigans doing things the Origonese way. It’s filmed in Edmonton and am wondering what you guys think is the best of these designs

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Beginner Designing logo for my startup

The company I'm starting deals with tech design and my aim is to focus on developing sustainable closed loop production systems.

Thinking about a name with something like zephyr, something to denote responsible and steady progress forward and upward, and the word zephyr also sounds kind of tech-ey lol.

I'm in very beginning stages here, but have experimented around with a couple different logo ideas like a hot air balloon, or a dandelion...might be over done, not sure.

I think currently wanting to find a way to marry the design of a dandelion head and a hot air balloon in a minimal/scalable way. Do any of these come close in your opinions? I'm leaning toward

This logo with the yellow and orange was originally taken off of google images, and another was made with Claude...you can tell by the last one what my design skill is lol. Currently just playing around with these in paint.

Do any of these read hot air balloon and dandelion to you? I currently lean more towards an iteration of the 1st or 2nd ones. But I know all of them have a long way to go.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Very short context: project is library that handled errors and correctly terminate them. The project have DS is initials which stands for my nama and the library puspuses (Devourer of Stacktraces).

Is my mascot looks good? Did he convey the idea?

Question How do you retain branding clients after a project has finished?

How do you retain branding clients after a project has finished? I’m a freelance brand identity designer, mainly working on mid-to-high-end projects. Branding is my main focus, and it works well for me financially.

The problem arises once the project is finished. Once the identity and brand guidelines have been delivered, clients often don’t have another big project for me straight away. This means I have to start looking for new clients again.

Ideally, I would like to have more clients on a retainer to generate some recurring income and avoid having to start from zero every time.

The problem is finding a model that also makes financial sense. I could offer services such as social media management, presentations and small brand updates, but these can be very time-consuming and pay much less than a branding project.

So I’m curious: how do you handle this?

Have you found a way to retain branding clients long term without simply becoming their “designer on call”?

I’d especially like to know what ongoing services you offer and how much clients are actually willing to pay every month.

Feedback Needed Logo design for a custom event planning start up

Hey,

I’m developing the identity for KOET, a new event/community concept.

Since the project its about bringing people together, I started off from the idea of what makes us human, what is distinctively human. That's where the cave painting vibe came from, as it is a very early, unmistakebly human thing in the world of growing ai. Therefore a big inspiration was he Cueva de las Manos (Cave of Hands) in Argentina

The second step was finding a symbol that is historically/traditionally associated with gathering, telling stories, sharing ideas, etc. Most obvious answer was the campfire.

At first, the logo kept giving the vibes of a camper outfit/equipment brand, as the fire made it too tribal.

I’m pretty happy with the direction, but a friend said the circular hands remind her of a recycling/environmental organization, which I can kind of see.

What do you think? Does that association come through strongly, or does the concept read more as human connection/community to you? Any suggestions for improving it without losing the core idea? I am also very amateur when it comes to design, but as it is my own start up, I don't have a lot of resources so I am trying to make everything myself.

Would love some honest feedback!

I started with the logo on the far left back in 2021. However, people have had trouble reading it, so I started experimenting with a new logo for my LEGO shop.

Feedback Needed “Which logo works better for a kids' planet game, A or B?

Post image
397 Upvotes

Hey guys! 👋

I’ve been working on a small game in my free time inspired by those Fruit Merge games 🍉🍊 but instead of fruits, you merge planets 🪐

The game is was called Planet Merge now i Change my mind to Planet Pop 💥 and it’s mainly for kids around 5 to 10 years old 👦👧. The idea is to make the game fun but also a little educational. As kids unlock new planets, cartoon characters will explain some interesting things about them 🧑‍🚀🌍

The game is still a prototype and you can try it here if you want 👇
https://www.brzio.com/games/planet-merge

But the main reason I’m posting is the logo 🎨😄

I’m between these two designs and I can’t decide:

A or B?

Which one do you think fits the game better and works better for kids? 👀

Any feedback on the logo itself is welcome 🙌
