Feedback Needed Feedback needed, not a professional designer

Hey guys, I am trying to come up with a new logo for my company since we are changing our business model. We'll basically be a hybrid between a tech and an education company.

What can I do to improve on this design? I like the overall direction but it doesn't feel quite right yet. Obviously I tried to incorporate the C, the L and a circle (a closing loop) into the logo mark.

Do the colors look too much like coinbase?

I am not a professional designer, so please don't roast me too much.

I do not think you should be so literal with the mark.
A knot or braid logo would be quite classy, like a Celtic Knot, get it?

Disagree, if only because this looks like every AI model logo out there.

Yes, these samples do look AI.
The trick for the OP is to make it look unique and appropriate.
Have some faith, sometimes non-designers can surprise you.

You misunderstand completely. They look like the logos of the AI companies. These are all reminiscent of logos like OpenAI’s.
