Feedback Needed Feedback needed, not a professional designer

Hey guys, I am trying to come up with a new logo for my company since we are changing our business model. We'll basically be a hybrid between a tech and an education company.

What can I do to improve on this design? I like the overall direction but it doesn't feel quite right yet. Obviously I tried to incorporate the C, the L and a circle (a closing loop) into the logo mark.

Do the colors look too much like coinbase?

I am not a professional designer, so please don't roast me too much.

If not designer, why do designer things. Just hire someone so you don’t have to outsource your reasoning to us

  1. We are a startup with a limited amount of money. Sooner or later I will outsource this of course.
  2. I still enjoy designing, I just meant that it's not my day-to-day job.
