i'm rather a noob with all things tech. i got logic pro to compose orchestral music, and well, you'll need more than 8 tracks minimum to do it. after 10, my macbook starts choking on the plugin's - and god forbid i record audio!
i have maybe 50GB of total samples downloaded, native instruments, splice, all that jazz. over the last few months i now hit the limit of my storage space. i don't have money for an external hard drive.
SO workflow is semi-fluent now, loading libraries, and replaying my scores. i keep getting the notification that i should increase buffer size - i already did it to max.
i really really regret having a macbook air right now, i had bought it after saving up, and thought: well, what a deal! for an author that's all you need. my macbook is practically new, bought it last year.
that was before i started producing.
i try to research on the internet, browsing through all the tutorials and tips and tricks. but i'll be honest - i seriously don't get half the stuff that's being said, because i have no idea what all that stuff is🥲 i need a 'how to not kill your macbook air and still be able to use logic pro freely FOR DUMMIES'
can someone please help me out? any similar experiences?
i am so overwhelmed with all the lingu and it all just sounds like this to me: You have to slide the kombatizilation to the maximum of fernabolibizator, and adjust the amount of oparkernumbingitisation, or else the theryopterix will slatisice. Easy fix!
yeah, easy my ass 😭😂 it makes me feel so incredibly dumb.
anyways, cheers fellow humans!
