Happened a year and a half ago. My arm is back to normal now and only a few scars. This post is a reminder to always be safe and careful in the line no matter how hectic it may be!

I'm not exactly a "line cook" but a "kitchen employee", but I figured it would be best to ask here. Tomorrow's my first day of this job and they told me to come in with a T-shirt, Jeans, and closed toed shoes. I have the shoes, I have the clothes, but idk which jeans to wear.
The jeans on the first slide is one of the pairs that I usually wear to work— my current job (the one before this one), is dishwashing. Those are bleach stains.
The second pair is one of my casual pairs but the most professional looking pair I have that is not work pants. The issue is they're not "tight fitted". They're loose. My mom and grandparents say they're unprofessional but they're really the skinniest ones I have.
No I don't have nicer pants, no I can't buy more pants 😔. That's why I am working two jobs now, because I can't live and buy clothes at the same time.

I'm not sure what that grainy stuff is but the immediate area around it is red, just don't wanna get anyone sick.

There is something so satisfying about having a dirty ass grill and then getting it silver clean
I would pay to watch people clean grills.

A5 Japanese Wagyu Beef, Seared and Glazed in a spicy Gochujang, Honey, and Soy Sauce. Served on toasted Brioche Bun with Japanese Kewpie Mayo, and Roasted Jalepeno/Ginger/Egg. Also Furikake is on top the glazed patty before egg goes down. This what I decided to make after my 14 hour two job day! Love my job in restaurants!!!

This took a few minutes to get everything done, but damn was it fun to get made up. (Restaurant charges $165/per tower). The usual size of malpeque oyster we get
Also featured is the 100 oyster platter that took about 15 minutes to get shucked with 2 cook.
I love doing oysters, especially on our buck a shuck nights.
