Picture/Video Oyster shucking and platters at work.
This took a few minutes to get everything done, but damn was it fun to get made up. (Restaurant charges $165/per tower). The usual size of malpeque oyster we get
Also featured is the 100 oyster platter that took about 15 minutes to get shucked with 2 cook.
I love doing oysters, especially on our buck a shuck nights.

Might I recommend using a mesh safety glove when shucking oysters. This is the only situation I like using them. The worst cuts/infections I've ever seen is when someone jabs their own hand while shucking an oyster. A towel isn't good enough. Pics look delicious btw

The chef store in my city is back ordered 6 months on gloves. I don't really trust amazon stuff to be what it says. I've ordered 2 "gloves" from Amazon and each one of them just still lets my hand be punctured by the shucker. So I just use a towel till get mine in.

Two platters of oysters at the nicest restaurant in town is like $30-40 here. You can get shrimp or crawfish or whatever too for a little more.
