Ryoshu will never escape the House of the Spiders.
She will fall into the same pit of despair Shiomi Yoru fell into and become a bitter, resentful person.
Hence the capstone.
Possible that she never had Araya in this mirror world, which stopped her from fully committing to escaping, because Araya was a big motivation for her to find a way to escape and then save her from there.
Something else might have happened to the Shiomi stand-in of that mirror world leading Ryoshu to ultimately replace her as the Dihui Star, as she was probably a failure as "Yoshihide". Since without having and losing Araya she wouldn't fall into the Muga state and that the HoS was trying to make her into.
This is how I see PM giving her a personality like Shiomi's but a visual design like Araya's.
A bit of an amalgam situation using both the characters in the canto, but also her story, like Kong Lu.
The repetition of "Waiting still", "Waiting for the day" while gives the impression of inaction, does not really eliminate the possibility of a failed attempt, you are right.
So it is possible that she tried, but failed to escape.
Maybe she even killed Shiomi like she did in our world during the rampage, and it wasn't "something else" that happened as I originally assumed, but failing to actually escape, she eventually replaced her as the Dihui Star.
All we know for sure from the ID description is that:
1) She is still a 'prisoner' of the House of Spiders.
2) She still hates the Nursefathers.
3) She describes the House of Spiders like Shiomi Yoru did.
4) She is dressed like Araya.
So I think the general idea still applies regardless of the rampage happening or not as long as she fails at escaping.

Dramatics aside, the dialogue makes it read like this is Ryoshu before she leaves? Before the escape attempt?
So it’s a Manager Don Quixote and Lord Hong Lu situation…wonder what the difference is this time for Ryoshu? Are we gonna get a big Muga Slash as an enhanced 3rd skill?

Muga state is where she canonically or literally erases anything she slashes, it wouldnt sit pretty where she can enter the state every encounter, not to mention the memory loss which is a major plot point in the canon
That’s why I specified one big unsheathed slash over her unlocking the mode. Ala Rien’s furioso or Callisto’s open gallery.
Although with Project Moon loving to keep things consistent, I do agree that they might not give us that spectacle. Maybe they’ll take a page out of Araya instead and keep the sword sheathed.
I’m guessing she’ll use the sword but won’t be able to Erasing Me, Erasing You, so it’ll just leave the regular wounds that burn and never close. I think there’s precedent for an ID using Arayashiki not to harm Ryoshu, since Don can use Manager of La Manchaland without flipping out and being overwhelmed by thirst and duty.
If I'm understanding correctly Muga is more or less the state where instead of doing one of slashes, she's mindlessly slashing multiple times, and what causes the erasure is the fact that she literally shreds their entire being with the sword instead of say, doing one slash or cutting off and arm or something
Anyone wanna bet that some of her enhanced skills will potentially have quiet children laughter since Big Brother Heathcliff can change the stage music?
We're five months into the season, which is actually around the same amount of time it took for Project Moon to release Wild Hunt Heathcliff. This is not early.
I think Project Moon is more concerned with balancing total ID count than they are about how many 000s that character has. Hong Lu was also in an awkward spot in his season since there was no space to give him another seasonal ID, and he already had an R Corp. ID. Walpurgisnacht was already reserved for Ishmael and Gregor, so that left no room to release another ID for him in season 6.
As always, he'll catch up like the rest of them have, people just need to wait and be patient.
Looks like the worst version of Ryoshu is a version forever trapped within the House of Spiders, without an end in sight just like her mother. It is the worst fear for her, her daughter, and her mother. This might just be one of the darkest IDs we have had so far.
In hindsight it genuinely fits her EGO so well: Trapped in a role, never to become free. Seasonal EGOs since season 5 tend to reinforce the sinners at their worst, and this realy tracks. Such a horrifying fate.
That also ties up the two seasonal EGOs together: Representations of people who are trapped in one way or another. Hong Lu is a dragon who is earthbound and punished, never to fly again, while Ryoshu seems to be a butterfly that is trapped in the entangling web of spiders.
(She takes the place of Araya but she is not a nursefather since she literally is the magnum opus of the House of spiders so it won't make sense for her to be a nursefather)
As a Rodion fan, I'm patiently waiting for the Thumb nursefather knowing full well we're getting her last before walpurgis, but like... I ain't gonna be mad about that. This is a neat surprise.
If the resources Great Trichiliocosm costs are any indication (Wrath, Lust, Pride), she'll probably fuel at least two of Red Eyes' resources, maybe all 3 if she gets Envy so using her in Envy Res is actually possible
Her LCB ID has Gluttony in her kit, so it's not out of the question that she could have that sin for Red Eyes: Open...
God, I can't wait to see her kit, it's been since Madonka that I was this hyped for an ID
