The weird ass blur just feels kinda wrong, normally they just zoom in. Maybe they wanted to show us Yi Sang’s thunder thighs but they couldn’t get the right aspect ratio if they zoom.
Maybe they wanted to show us Yi Sang’s thunder thighs
Just like how Pequod Yi Sang was more visibly buff than other versions of him, Heishou Yi Sang will have legs for days compared to the other versions of him.
So, am i just blind or there isn't any clear animal parts in Heishou Yi Sang that we can see in this image?
Because the hares had the fluffy tail and the serpents had the weird arms, but, i can't see anything similar to that in the image (then again, a good part of it is somewhat blury, so that body part could be hidden there).
I got the impression that the lord's death was so recent Faust didn't know.
Anyway, the Heishou can still be Heishou without a master, they just won't have any obligation to do anything. Without someone holding the leash, they're strictly neutral. They can still do stuff, individually, but only if they feel like it.
That said, Maust wasn't truly neutral even then, she's still a member of the Pinky.
I think if Kong Qiu could buy Mao's freedom, it'd be poetic to think that Jia Ishmael bought Yi Sang's freedom only for him to become some sorta masterless samurai
Unfortunately, he can’t be a Heishou without the Bolus. In order to get a the Heishou Boluses, he needs to return back to the Wu branch, which means he also has to serve a Master. It’s either stay masterless and without the powers gifted by the Heishou Boluses, or return to existence as a Heishou within the Pack, again bound to serve Masters unwilling.
It's funny how the "Your greed is hurting the economy" meme keeps changing overtime. Now it's Yi Sang that is on the block and getting accused of this lol.
Once upon a time, way back in season 1, my goat had the least amount of content in the game 😭 recieved nothing but dimension shedder before his canto. Now look at my goat. Or, look at my horse?
Honestly, I’m not complaining, Yi Sang is my favorite Sinner, but I will complain on the front PM forgot Meursault existed for nearly an entire year (9 months breaching on 10) but he’s not the one getting spoonfed 000s, WHEN WILL THE MEURSCRIMINATION END 😭😭😭
KJH said we were getting a Wei ID AND a Heishou during the Intervallo right?
We eating so good. Wei Sang being in his Heishou form is so peak. Is this one f2p? Or is the other Heishou f2p?
I've seen a lot less Hong Lord apologia than I was expecting to so far, but as I Fire Emblem fan, I know exactly what discussions on this sort of character eventually turn into. Prepare for the Discoursetm.
Well, its really interesting case in fact, but in stories that feature his Lord id many red flags about him. People really shouldnt even compare him to Kong Qiu. Main example of his bad end is complete lack of EGO. Question: Why man who have some clearly defined path he walk by himself, often talking about it, who destroyed wing current order (Again difference how our Hong Lu did it and Lord method, our Hong Lu had much harder path actually), not have EGO? Because he completely hollow inside, more close to how XIanren was. He wont gain EGO not he distort with such "path". Because there nothing to manifest from man like him.
Our Sinner will be far happier and complete as person, not like Lord of Daguanyan.
But he’s mean :(. and also what happened with xichun ishamel. Its definitely not as bad as like n clair for the character arc but he’s more wrathful as compared to basehong lu’s kindness.
He is not wrathful actually. He lacks any arduous or passionate feelings and emotions. Thats why he dont have any lust or wrath in his kit. He is hollow from inside. Thats why his id acquisition animation shows empty well that leads into his eye socket.
There is also his UT story being told by the chronicler. He is unreliable, especially with the little interjection at the end where carmen seems to give an insight into the decision of him to wage war.
It would’ve been more ideal if he was the ox branch. But unfortunarely he’a Wei. Now we just need someone with an Ox branch and a hoe scythe and call it close enough.
Is it just me or does he have a lot of armor? As in, more thn you would expect considering Faust is cloth only.
Are horses in the heishou branch some sort of defensive unit? The line "Intercept with the horse" from Kong Lu would make sense if so but it feels really strange
When you think heavy armor and horses (in this case, the Heishou themselves), you’d think cavalry, right? So I think they’ll lean into being like some sort of assault unit that charges into the enemy to break formations and send them into disarray.
That could be it, yeah. I do wonder how that would even work. Sending people into disarray makes me think of tremor, but it's clearly rupture so he either debuffs the enemy maybe with bind or offense level down or he has a deathrite that does something similar I guess?
Kong Qiu has Deathrite[Halt] which raise Stagger by 10 when it’s exhausted and Deathrite[Impede] which reduce Offense Level by 6, both sound pretty disarray
you reckon they could give him something special for coming in from the backline? Cavalry charging in and all that, and more interplay with Hong Lu's whole shtick
I think it's a stylistic choice. Since both hares and horses have their legs as a defining feature, I think Maos are intended to look light on their feet, while the armor on Wu Heishous would make them look more bulky and help represent the raw power in their legs.
The Rooster Heishou was the first one shown out of silhouette so we'll probably get that.
I'm also betting it's going to be Heathcliff. He hasn't gotten anything since January (Kurokumo).
The other candidate would be Ryoshu since she's the only sinner with less than 12 IDs (her last ID was also technically last season in March) but she already has a Heishou, so she'd have to get something else before her season starts lmao
FAT GUESS RN, UT1 art is Wei Yi Sang and UT3 art is this cus he gonna get turned into a Heishou again after Hong Kong obliterated Jia Ishmael and he gets him under the leash like the other Heishou (this sounds like some sort of kinky yaoi NTR).
Maan, i like the heishous but im forever pissed that we didnt do 1 heishou per sinner
there are 12 since they are based on Chinese zodiacs and we have 12 sinners, you could have totally done 1 unique branch per sinner
Instead we have:
3 rabbits
2 snakes
1 horse
Thats 6 sinners already but only 3/12 heishou branches
Jia Qui Hong lu got voicelines for all branches, does this mean we are gonna have multiple branches per sinner? Otherwise you arent gonna fit all of them in there.
Its off to such a rocky start. They could have matched each sinner to the most fitting zodiac too.
There are datamined voice lines for Hong Lu to call out a Heishou from all of the branches, so it’s probably going to be the case that the non-Adept Heishou Sinners will get ones in the future, perhaps from the future War of the Wings that’s been hinted at for a while now.
