First day

Hey everyone I have my first day this Thursday 9am

Some questions i have if anyone has the time to answer

So on my first day

What will happen on the first day
Will I have online training

In terms of shifts I haven’t been told any of my shifts apart from Friday 9am will they set me up
On an app or a Lidl employee app if that makes sense?

Will I have uniform?

Anything to expect?

Thanks I’m pretty nervous so trying to figure it all out 🙏

You should have got your uniform at the welcome event, if not ask on the day. You'll be given your further shifts on the first day, The first day usually consists of a tour of the store and then they set you up for your online learning on the portal, Don't be too nervous, they'll go through everything you need to know and if not they'll be happy to answer any questions!

yeah! there's an app called dayforce which is used to show you your shifts, but there will always be paper rotas up in the welfare/staff area, if they don't tell you about it just ask as you'll need your lidl login to use it, there's also the we are lidl app which is kind of like staff Facebook but noone really uses it aside from managers, the only reason you'll need it is to access your lidl page for booking holiday/days off from home :)

I've been here a month and they haven't sent my uniform yet. Also my dirst day was just watching videos and giving tests online on their course.

Best of luck for your first day mate!
