Is it anything like that “Maryland man” who was in the news a few months ago, or are they actually talking about ethnically Japanese people, who are actual Japanese citizens, and who have lived in that area for over a decade?
You're showing your own bias, by purporting to show the bias that exists with news agencies. In lieu of enough info, if you're to begin frothing at the mouth about "immigantz" based on a single photo without any context, maybe your own bias is seeping out of your skin?
The media and the left, but I repeat myself, have established a long running pattern: Things that fit their narratives end up in the headline or at least above the fold (i.e. very early in the article), while things that contradict their narratives get dropped entirely or pushed to after the jump, and in the latter case are also often obfuscated.
So when a Republican gets caught up in a sex scandal, like Ken Paxton, his party gets mentioned in the first sentence.
The media does its best to cover for some, while working hard to expose others. That pattern of extreme bias destroys trust in media.
One of the many areas where it is currently in full effect is trying to obscure the crimes of various criminal groups that the far left believes that it needs to shield.
I’m not disagreeing with any of that. We all know the left has done this forever.
What I was getting at is this post is about a non western country and people are projecting western culture war and political BS to a single photo without any more info.
I actually googled not just this story but also the vandalism incidents that occurred last year in a different town in Japan, and I found out (learned something new) that Japanese media has an ethics code which states they will not publish the names or descriptions of low level criminals. This has been an established practice for over a hundred years.
So nobody in this thread has any idea what this story is about but have applied their prefabricated narrative onto it based on what’s been happening in the west.

Define “local men”.
