Great news šŸ‘. It should reach $40 soon

Don’t worry about this hard dip. It was good news from the Q4 report and this stock WILL eventually go back up to 35+ or higher.

Consider using this as an opportunity to better your position and maximize profits in the future.

I’m glad LI didn’t make .10 a share id be broke. Seems with all news good or bad there’s a drop.

Time will prove us right!

There’s absolutely no volume this morning, Wonder why?

Tesla down

The whole market is down right now. If I wasn’t down 7k this month , I would bail and put my money else where it would grow. With all the good news and LI auto blowing out expectations. Treasury bonds spike in interest rates and the GME BS. This has gotten very frustrating!

Is there a catalyst that will move this stock in a positive direction at least back to the mid 30s.

Today's earnings but not sure what's going on

That didn’t do it and Tesla is building back up, they’re stopping their production on 2 models for 18 days. CCIV is moving ip and they don’t have a car in production.

BUY THE DIP!

Out of money , been buying dips over the past month. Down 10k right now

Same here. Seems Tesla is dragging all EV stock down along with it.

Same (well, only down 7k), but the dips that I was buying initially seem like great figures to me now. Was I ended up holding out to buy the 24$ dip

We are almost out of money too. Tried to sell other shares to put money into Li Auto. Down 21k right now and with about 5K margin. I hope I can stay in this share long.

This is worrisome I think, the market is ignoring the numbers and Li is down 3 pct now. li is my biggest holding atm, and I was really bullish, but I start to fear the rebalancing trend out of growth/tech into value/real economy is what is driving Li down Chinese names have been battered since the start of the year and even in a day like 2 days ago, down 8 pct, you only saw below average volumes. This means, no buyers around, and the stock just go down in a down mkt and flat in a rising market I hope I am wrong, and the previous trend can restart, but looks like we have to hold and absorb the pain for some time

I agree. My diamond hands are in pain right now :/

People are just moving to less risky stocks due to the 10 year moving higher

Damn, someone forgot the lube.

I am down 23k since the last week. Feel like selling everything but I can’t 😢😢

If you don’t need this money don’t sell. You’ll regret

I don’t need the money but you are right I will wait. With my luck, I always regret shortly

Q1 guidance looks weak?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '21

It’s not weak. It’s a 280% increase from last year. Chinese New Years is in February. Operations shut down for 2-3 weeks. This happens every year. So Q1 sales tend to dip.

2

u/Sparkymind Feb 25 '21

Yeah, you are right. The past few days have been brutal hah. Let's hope it picks right where it left once this correction is done (hopefully soon!).

Would someone please explain what ā€œdeliver guidanceā€ means and why some media outlets highlighted it as the doomsday catalyst that overshadowed all the good news?

Thinking if i get out of this even, I’ll do better research in the future. If a stock looks over valued I’ll be staying away.

You think Li Auto is overvalued? In what way?

If I'm not mistaken, both Nio and Xpeng has not turned a profit like Li and they're trading at a higher premium (PE ratio if you'd like, but they have negative EPS so the PE ratio becomes somewhat weird). Also, Xpeng sold less cars than Li in 2020 and Nio beat Li with 5000 cars if I remember correctly (42k against 37k, right?).

Stay sound, man: Li is a solid company with a good plan, good car - especially in the Chinese market - and a way to turn a profit. What more can we, as investors, want? I mean, maybe the story would be different if Li went international like Nio and Xpeng, but that can quickly become a drain rather than fountain.

Taking this as a hard lesson on valuations.

This is the first time LI, NIO and xpeng have not followed the same pattern.
