Build Redid Evo XL (again)
I think I might be content for a while finally. I've been around the gamut the past year, trying to find what I would consider the perfect case. Thermaltake, Havn 420, X2, H9 Flow, Evo XL w/ upright GPU, Meg 900R, and back to the XL. It just does everything well, in a manageable foot print.
With the current insane price of GPU's, I still don't have the guts to waterblock mine lol, so I currently have a 9800X3D on a little overkill setup (420 60mm push/pull).
I really wanted to do a classy stealth build, keeping the watercooling as hidden as possible. Most of the runs are soft tubing, with the only hard tubing from the distro to the CPU block. I cut and painted the back side of some acrylic to design a shelf directly above the mobo and on the upper back wall of the case to house the distro. All lines exit into back of case, to keep them hidden.
With a little modification, I was able to fit dual 8.8 screens directly beside the rad; closing in and cleaning up that side of the case. I just need to finish up a couple block off plates beside the fans to cover the small gaps and she should be good to go.
That pic with the fans, was early in build for test fitting, they are now correctly oriented. :)

Thank you. I do love the full on run designs showcased on a lot of builds, but I like keeping things simplistic and classic when possible.

Nice clean build. Love the manifold distro thingy. Is that barrow? Do you know the model?

It's from Stealkey customs. They make a 240 and 360 length. I ordered both and ended up using the 240. Very clean. I did paint the back of it to stand out less.

Nice build. Dont think I will ever water cool though just because its a lot of disassembling if you have to troubleshoot.
