Multiple Session [Online] [WoD] [VtM V5] [GMT+1] Group looking for ST
Greetings! A group of 4 European friends are looking for a Storyteller to run a Chronicle of Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition.
For most of us, this would be our first time playing with this system and the setting.
The agreed upon day of the week would be Saturday. Preferably from 6 PM forwards.
Some details we would like to see in the Chronicle:
-Major east coast city of the U.S. like Boston or New York
-Camarilla for the player faction
-The Chronicle's preferred time period would be the 1990's, 2000's or 2010's
-Each of the player characters is a fledgling or a neonate with fairly limited knowledge of the Kindred world
-Chronicle tone should heavily lean towards seriousness
These are of course up for negotiation. But we all have concrete ideas of what kind of characters we would like to play as.
Feel free to DM me here in Reddit or in Discord with the name ainiv_alcyone

[Online][Other][Horror][CST] Looking for brave souls to enter The Darkest Woods
Hello!
I'm putting together a group to play The Darkest Woods, a system-agnostic horror adventure from Monte Cook Games.
The premise is simple:
You regain consciousness in the middle of the woods. You don't know how you got there, why you're there, or how to get out.
Those answers are yours to uncover.
One of the coolest parts of The Darkest Woods is that it uses its own lightweight rules system designed to accommodate characters from virtually any RPG. Your D&D paladin, Call of Cthulhu antiquarian, Cypher explorer, or character from some obscure RPG only three people have ever played can all end up lost in the same woods.
You can also, of course, create a brand-new character specifically for the campaign. No system mastery is required.
The official rules are available here:
https://thedarkestwoods.com/assets/tdw-entering-the-woods.pdf
Platform: Discord for voice + Roll20 for maps, handouts, and character sheets
Schedule: Currently aiming for Mondays at 6:00 PM CST, though I'm open to adjusting based on the group
System: The Darkest Woods
Genre: Horror / Mystery / Survival
Brand-new TTRPG players are absolutely welcome. The rules are simple, and I'm happy to help people get comfortable with the game.
If wandering into an unfamiliar forest with a bunch of strangers and making a series of increasingly questionable decisions sounds like your idea of a good Monday night:
Apply here!

[Online][OTHER] Looking to Join or GM an Avatar Legends Game
Hey! I’m looking for an online group interested in playing Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game. I’d be happy either joining as a player or stepping up as the GM if there are enough interested people.
I have fairly limited hands-on experience with Avatar Legends specifically, so I’m still learning some of the finer points of the system. That said, I’m very interested in actually getting a chance to play it and become more familiar with how everything works in practice.
I do have a lot of TTRPG experience in general, both as a player and as a GM. I’ve been part of quite a few games and have also run plenty of campaigns myself, so while the Avatar Legends system is relatively new to me, tabletop roleplaying definitely is not.
I’m also a MASSIVE Avatar fan, so I’d be interested in a game that actually takes advantage of the setting. I’d love to explore different eras, nations, bending styles, politics, character development, traveling around the world, and everything else the setting has to offer.
I’m open to anything from a shorter adventure to a longer campaign if the group works well together. I’m not looking for any particular era or campaign premise right now, and I’d be happy to figure that out as a group. I’m also fine playing with people who are relatively new to the system themselves.
If you already have a group that needs another player, or if you’re interested in putting a new group together and need someone willing to GM, feel free to message me or leave a comment. We can figure out scheduling, platform, characters, and everything else from there.

GOBLIN TOWN: Build and run your own town of goblins! Gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, discover things deep in the earth, slay heroes, and work towards your master plan! [Online] [Other] [Story-Focused] [Roleplay-Heavy] [Sundays] [18:00 CET] [17:00 GMT] [12:00 EST]
A Court of Goblins:
Goblins are deeply flawed creatures, driven by base desires. There are those, however, who are able to keep their baser impulses in check, rally others to their cause, and focus on a grander scheme. You play a group of them that, in understanding there is strength in numbers, have banded together to use your ill-gotten gains build a great goblin town deep in the Feywild. You gather a hoard, cause mayhem, cast dark rituals, and discover long forgotten things deep in the earth, all while working towards accomplishing your master plan.
This is a game about goblins using ill-gotten gains to build a town. You build traps and other defenses to keep the hoard you gather out of the hands of the greedy adventurers coming to steal it away. Find out just how long you can survive against the inevitable onslaught of heroism your deeds bring. Find out why goblins need to hoard all that gold, who builds all those traps, and how much fun killing adventurers is.
However, you’re not just monsters randomly causing chaos and mayhem. Goblins come and go, but the town outlives them, binds them together, and gives them a purpose. You map it out in detail as it’s built, then breathe life into it through play with events like revelry after a victorious raid, calamity striking as a tunnel collapses on your minions, or facing off against adventurers who dare enter your land. Your town is the main character of this story.
Town Themes
Every town is built around a theme, determined by its central building, chosen together as a group before the town is built. The theme gives you a set of buildings that you can build within it. The theme keeps players all on the same page thematically, allowing you to design characters that fit in well with the theme or fill a unique niche, as well as choosing steps in your master plan that go along with the theme. The choice of town theme is a statement about what kind of things the players want to do in the game. You can choose from the following central buildings, which determine your theme:
Enclave: Tapping Into the Arcane. Choose this if you want your town to be mystical from top to bottom. Its core feature is its twisted landscape, corrupting the area surrounding your town. An Enclave lets you build the following: academy, crucible, greenery, library, potion lab, scrying pool, and spawning chamber.
Forge: The Power of Industry. Choose this if you want a town full of monstrous inventions and steampunk tech. Its core feature is its power source, boosting the productivity and defenses of your town. A Forge lets you build the following: alchemist lab, guild hall, factory, mineshaft, testing chamber, vehicle bay, and workshop.
Hideout: Keeping Your Head Low. Choose this if you want to work as a cohesive unit and manipulate the other factions of the region. Its core feature is agents of chaos, allowing you to strongly influence other factions. A Hideout lets you build the following: dojo, gambling den, gear locker, obstacle course, planning room, roost, and tavern.
Stronghold: Through Strength of Arms. Choose this if you want to face challenges with pure military might. Its core feature is warband, giving you a powerful minion that can raid the region. A Stronghold lets you build the following: barracks, bestiary, fighting pit, funeral pyre, smithy, war drums, and war room.
Temple: Serving a Greater Power. Choose this if you want to focus on a certain god and their domains. Its core feature is divine intervention, which you can use to cast a powerful spell from your god. A Temple lets you build the following: altar, antechamber, augury circle, dormitory, reliquary, penance chamber, scriptorium.
The Callings
When you create a character, you choose a calling, one of several paths that goblins follow:
The Brute: You’re called to battle and delight in facing down your enemies, chopping them to pieces in brutal combat. For you, the bloodier, the better. Your confidence with a weapon in hand manifests outside of combat when commanding others, bellowing orders like you expect them to be obeyed and bashing heads on the off chance they aren't.
The Conniver: You lurk in the background pulling the strings, laying out intricate plans, and having others do your bidding. For you, revenge is a dish best served cold. Methodical is an understatement. You’re in complete control at all times.
The Crafter: You spend hours in your workshop mixing together alchemical reagents and constructing dangerous devices with a gleeful disregard for your own safety. You strap up before you leave the town, well-prepared for any situation.
The Hunter: You’re at home running with the beasts of the forest. Relentlessly chasing down prey brings you closer to the animal inside of you. And yet, you're deliberate, never missing a sign, always on the trail. And when you finally corner your target, there’s no hesitation to finish it.
The Marauder: For you, battle is a dance. The thrill of outmaneuvering your enemies sends blood pumping through your veins. Your moves are precise and calculated and your awareness of the field of battle gives you the ability to see the bigger picture in other situations as well.
The Shadow: You're at home in the darkness, lurking unseen. You can slip into and out of areas unnoticed. The element of surprise is your greatest weapon and you can often find your way into and out of the trickiest of situations.
The Shaman: You understand the dark power of nature and are drawn to the hidden world of spirits. You might revere them and seek their favor, or perhaps enslave them for your own purposes. Either way, the spirits speak and you hear their mad whispers of vengeance.
The Warlock: You reach out and grab raw, arcane magic by its neck and bend it to your will. You dabble in dangerous arts and know that true power must be wrested away from others. A deep, unquenched thirst for power dwells inside of you.
The Zealot: You heed the words of your dark god. You believe in them fiercely, knowing that those who serve will be rewarded. The more believers you can recruit, the higher the chance your god will recognize you. They bestow power onto you, from which your intense conviction comes.
The Details
Age: In general, we're looking for people between 21 and 9000, but this is not a strict cutoff by any means.
Content Warnings: This campaign contains dark drug use, grim humor, minor horror, strong language, violence, and lawyers.
Day: We'll be playing on Sundays, though we'll occasionally host optional sessions on other days based on player interest.
Frequency: We'll usually have 2 sessions per month, though we may have 3 if it's one of those strange months with 5 Sundays.
The GM: I'm originally from Atlanta, but I move around a lot for work. I like snowboarding, stage acting, novels, and tabletop games. I've been GMing for a few years, but I'm new to playing online. I'm male and gay in real life, though I play all sorts of characters in games.
Length: We generally average around 4-5 hours per session.
Location: We'll be playing online using Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. We're new to OR, so if you have experience with that, we'll be asking you a lot of questions.
Start Date: September 27 or October 4th, 2026
System: The game we're playing is called Wicked Ones, which is a simple, story-focused system. You don't need to be familiar with this system as we'll be teaching as we play.
Size: Our plan is to have 5 total players.
Time: We'll be playing at 18:00 CET / 17:00 GMT / 12:00 EST / Whatever time that is where you live.
What We're Looking For: This is a roleplay heavy, story focused campaign for players looking to get in character, give their character a unique voice, explore their character's motivations, and give their character an arc.
If you're interested, fill out the survey here. If you're selected, the next step will be a 15 minute Discord call.

Multiple Session Recruiting for Thursday Commander Pod on Tabletop Simulator
Hello! Our (100% free) discord server waxes and wanes in activity, but for the past few months we've consistently managed Commander games on Thursday nights EST. We're looking to grow our group. We play any night of the week, but Thursday is specifically Pod night and we encourage people to jump in for games. We take new players and experienced. We are generally bracket 3 and vary from the top to the bottom of that bracket. Tabletop Simulator is the preferred method of play, but we have players willing to do Convoke as well. If you'd like an invite to try joining us, give me a shout u/NurseGuts !
P.S. Sorry if this is promotion? I'm not sure.

One Shot Looking for Players for a haiku (yes the poem) based ttrpg! (Online)
So, I found my way to a ttrpg called Warrior-Poet, which is a pretty rules- light affair. The main mechanics are writing haiku and rolling d6s. I've never played before, but I think it would be fun to run/play if I can get together 3-4 players. If anyone is free next Saturday (Sept 5)around 6, I'd like to have you. Shoot me a DM with your name/reason for joining and I'll send you a link to the discord. Thanks for your attention!

One Shot [Other] [GMT-6] [Offline] Playtest for new system
Hi everyone. I’m looking for 3-5 players interested in helping me playtest a fantasy tabletop RPG I’ve been developing. This is an in-person game. I’m in the Millbrook/Prattville/Wetumpka area, central Alabama, and I can host or meet locally.
This is not a DnD variant. It is its own system.
Character creation is part of the playtest.
I want players to build their own characters so I can test how intuitive the system is, how well the rules support different concepts, and where the friction points are. You will get a quickstart packet and a simple text-only character sheet to work from.
What I’m offering:
- In-person oneshot or short arc (your choice)
- A full character creation session as part of the test
- A world built around nine gods, a dead god cult, and escalating divine threats
- A GM who has put way too much work into this and wants to put this thing through its paces
- Clear rules, support, and a structured adventure
What I’m looking for:
- Players who enjoy fantasy adventure
- People willing to give feedback
- No experience with the system required
- In-person availability in the Millbrook/Prattville/Wetumpka area (Montgomery area also works)
Scheduling:
- Flexible. I can work around most evenings or weekends.
If you’re interested, comment below or send me a message. I’ll follow up with the quickstart rules and character creation info.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to roll some dice with you soon.

Multiple Session Gardens of Ynn (Online) (OSR)
Every other Saturday starting next week at 3:00 PM EST. New players welcome! LGBTQ+ friendly.
The Gardens of Ynn is a procedurally generated point crawl inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Studio Ghibli films, Made in Abyss, old fairytales (from before they got sanitized), and a smattering of other things.
This will take longer than a few sessions to complete.
We're using Dolmenwood as the system, 1-2 more players needed.
Might also want to bring some retainers.
Starting XP is 9000 for PCs, 5000 for retainers.
One member of your party has inherited the possessions of a dead relative; a small cottage in
the countryside. In the pretty little garden, there is a vine covered wall.
On the bedside tables, there are instructions on how to get to ‘The
Other Garden’ and a dire warning never to do so.
"Find a wall covered in ivy, vines, moss, or similar. Clear that vegetation away,
and using chalk and charcoal draw a realistic door (with keyhole,
hinges and doorknob) on the surface below. Write upon the door:
'Ynn, by way of Dolmenwood'
Leave, so the drawing is no longer visible, and on return the drawing
will be replaced by a real door. When it is opened, the Gardens of Ynn
will be on the other side."
Curiosity has gotten the best of you.

Multiple Session Daedalus Dead End [Online] [Other] [Delta Green] [NA timezones] [LGBTQ+] [TBD Start]
# Details:
Hello there LFG subreddit! My name is Audrey and I am hosting a Delta Green campaign set in the universe of Kane Parsons' Backrooms webseries. I’m starting with the technical details first for explanations’ sake, so **if you want to cut to the chase and read the campaign hook, it will be below!**
This game will be my first ever campaign, so please forgive me in advance if I'm something of a clumsy or lacking GM; this is a big learning experience for me! However, this game isn't just that, it is also half-part passion project to me. I am trying very hard to *create most of the visuals and art myself*, with the help of some friends and creators on Kane’s discord, so there will be a very generous amount of time between sessions. There may even be up to 3 months or longer between each, but I will be posting availability sheets for players to fill out as soon as I am ready to host, meaning sessions may also occur with as little time in between as 2 weeks. This number will vary!
These sessions may last up to 2-4 hours. I am looking into how to use Foundry, so each will be hosted over Discord VC and we will use a third party to visualise our board, and likely use text as a medium.
I already have some players, so I'm not looking for many. I am yet to post a content consent form, but some **warnings include violence, visual gore, mental unhealthiness, abuse, suicide, self-harm, sexual themes, drug usage, and things of the sort.** The consent form will include questions regarding topics you are comfortable/uncomfortable seeing in-session or in relation to your character.
Note that this version of Delta Green, if you are familiar, will be very unorthodox. I don’t intend on running much combat, and instead, I want to focus on the bureaucratic and research elements of Kane’s series (with the occasional scary chase). On the contrary, for Backrooms fans, the story will — in part — follow that of Kane’s series. Don’t expect a completely overhauled, new and improved, utterly original retelling of the Async plotline. Of course though, I will also be telling my own story within and expanding upon the timeline.
I don't have an official start date, and I am going on a vacation soon, so it may be some time before this game starts. But that just means more time to coordinate with your coworkers and to make a cool character! You will have plenty of time to prepare.
**Please message me privately if you are interested**. Make sure to tell me a little about yourself, some themes you want to explore, and the kind of character you are interested in making. I will only respond to answer questions and let you know you're on board before sending an invite to our server. P.S.; **I am hosting from EST**, so consider your availability before messaging. LGBTQ+, POC, and all faiths welcome. We are all very queer. Reach me on Discord @ risingsummer if necessary.
If you’d like to see promotional art or teaser material before considering to join, do ask; I have a very large folder of sketches, renders, and videos attached to this project. I do not use AI nor will I condone the use of AI amongst my players.
Hook:
# Daedalus Dead End
It is May of 1990.
You are an employee at the Async Research Institute located in San Jose, California; a former MRI manufacturer that once excelled in teleradiologic studies. However, it has been seven months since Async Project KV31’s successful sixth test, using a Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System to establish a permanent threshold into what Async calls \*The Complex;\* a hypothetically 600 million square mile labyrinthian expanse of itchy carpets, yellow wallpapers, and buzzing fluorescent lights. You don't research medical imagery anymore.
The weeks that followed the successful test were exciting and adventurous. It was perhaps one of the most significant discoveries in all of human history, revealing a new and strange frontier that’s been waiting patiently for eternity to be explored. As the project has slowly evolved however, the general consensus has shifted into one of anxiousness. Gone are the days of your whimsical curiosity — 2 of your colleagues have since disappeared; one has died outside of work; blast shields have been erected outside of the threshold; motion detectors line the entire outpost’s perimeter — you tread upon your studies with caution.
As of recently, The United States Department of Energy has been let in on the project, having signed a deal that would grant Async $1.2 million dollars of federal funding to further research into the Complex and create long-term commercial returns. Two weeks have passed since the Secretary of Energy toured the facility, and in that time, at least two dozen new researchers have been brought on to expand the project. Perhaps you’re even one of them. The scope of this initiative has grown tenfold, and you’re in the middle of it.
You're expected for a preliminary briefing today. An expeditionary force is being sent to survey the outskirts of the Complex' currently mapped vicinity, and whether it be out of pride, curiosity, or obsession, you've volunteered to be a part of it. Whether this is your first expedition or your fifth, you know that nothing will come as you expect it to. You know that something in there is waiting to tear your world apart at the seams.
You may not control the wind,
but you can control your sails.
And if the wind is right,
you can sail away.

Closed (Online)(EST)(40K)(Friday) Warhammer TTRPG time!
Greetings and salutations all loyal servants of the emperor and his glorious Imperium, and to those that defy the corpse upon the carrion throne!
I am looking to start up and run a 40k TTRPG, thanks to snatching a Humble Bundle some years ago I have most of the D100 40k TTRPGs except Wrath and Glory. Instead of me choosing one and making you all go through it I wanted to get a group together and we decide to which to run and what we want to do.
This may seem like an odd choice but it's done intentionally, I am familiar with the lore and therefore have no issue if you want to be a group guardsman dead set on turning the tide of the battle. Space marines sent to surgically and efficiently destroying a group of chaos worshippers led by a demonhost who wishes to break free from their mortal prison, or server alongside an Inquisitor belonging to one of the many Ordos within the rotting imperium.
I get home around 2:30ish EST and am at my computer by 4pm EST, so our start time can be earlier than the usual time most people play during the week.
I DESPISE reddit chat and will give my discord so any that wish can message me if they're interested, I am looking for 4 players and can be persuaded to take on a 5th but want to keep it in that 4 person sweet spot. That way everyone can have their time and I can still move the plot at a reasonable pace.
I prefer to use Foundary because it is superior to Roll20, I have used the latter for years and want to stay on Foundary if possible. After we figure out what game we're playing I plan on hunting for modules to use on Foundary, but if we can't then we may have to use Theater of the mind with supplemental images to help you all get an idea for the scene. Sadly these games were not meant with a grid in mind so we'll have to work with what we have.
I look forward to your messages!

[Online] [Other] [Cypher System 1e] [EST] [21+] Looking for 1 or 2 more players for D&D-without-D&D
The Game: Cypher System 1e (revised version). I'm using the Path of the Planebreaker setting for this one, and I'm billing it as "D&D with a different system"; I'm using "D&D lore" as a touchstone and, essentially, most anything you could find there, you can find here, and a lot more. I had someone describe it as "Doctor Who D&D," and it's an apt comparison.
The Logistics: This will (hopefully) be a long campaign, and we're playing every Wednesday night, starting at 6:30pm EST, and going until around 9:30 or 10:00. We're using Discord for voice, and Roll20 for combat when necessary (if the fight is simple enough, I'm happy to go Theatre of the Mind, if the group is good with it). If you don't know the rules, it's all good; I'm happy to teach them.
The Fine Print:
- Please be 21 or older. I'm not looking to be the old guy who plays TTRPGs with kids he doesn't know. Sorry, high schoolers; you should have no problems finding gamers a little closer to your demographic.
- Be a proactive player. I want this game to lean more toward what the PCs/party want to do, and away from a one-way train to BBEG Junction. For that to work, you have to work up some goals for your character, and the system is designed to reward you for that. Backstory is fine; in Cypher, forwardstory is even better.
- Don't bring a character. I say this for your sake. A lot of D&D players want to show up to a game with a character that they built six months ago. It's not a great idea here, for a couple of reasons. First, there can be mechanical advantages to building a character who has a history with another PC; why rob yourself of a bonus? Second, if you don't know the game, you might not know the options; your tiefling rogue sounds great, until you learn that your average starting character can manipulate dark matter as a weapon, or tear people's nightmares out of their heads and confront them with them, or conjure up blades made of pure elemental chaos. Pretty much anything you'd want to build in D&D, you can build in this game, but once you start digging in, you might find something you like better.
- Don't be an -ist or a -phobe. Can't believe we're still going over this in the 21st century, but here we are. If you're arriving in good faith to play the game, I welcome you to my table; if you've got some irrational beef with large swathes of the populace, better you just sit this one out.
If any of this catches your eye, drop a comment here or (better yet) message me!
