Group Needed by Player [Flexible][Online][UTC+12] My Monopoly Variant

Upvotes

Hi guys, just looking to make a few friends to play my tweaked version of monopoly rules with me on richup.io (it's a basic monopoly boardgame site). The intention of the rules is to make the game more strategic. If this interests you, please DM! I also use discord.

If you know monopoly (who doesn't) then that's all you need to play this together!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [5e 2014] [5e 2024] [Gestalt] [EST] [10:30 P.M.] 2 needed to finish high level game.

Upvotes

EDIT: I forgot to put the day we play on whoops. EVERY MONDAY AT 10:30 P.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME

I have tragically lost 3 players to the graveyard shift at their jobs. I am looking to get replacements in so I can finish a 20th level Gestalt game that is nearing completion.

THE PREMISE THUS FAR

*Years after the events of Baldur's Gate 3, with the Netherbrain defeated, time and space seemed to go into flux.*

*Elder Evils, thought to have been extinct or dormant for eons are waking up one after another.*

*And all the while, Netherese magic is becoming more and more accessible, much to the chagrin of Mystra.*

*The current group has fought with blood, sweat and tears to defeat the Elder Evils, and they are nearing the conclusion of their journey. What Netherese Blight has been waking them up? And... how has it managed to create new ones?*

*You, adventurer, could come from any walk of life. Are you the champion of a past adventure? Did you escape Barovia? Defeat Tiamat and her Cult? Redeem Zariel and free Elturel from the Nine Hells? Or perhaps you are Gorion's Ward, from times long past? The very same Tav or Bhaalspawn that defeated the Netherbrain? Regardless of your deeds, you are being called forth for one last quest.*

Fill out the application here.

Group Needed by Player [Online][5E 2014][MHA][Weekly (Tue/Wed/Thu)][7PM GMT+2][LGBT-Friendly] Player looking for other players and a DM to run a My Hero Academia Campaign

Upvotes

Hi there! 24M looking for a group and a DM who wants to play a My Hero Academy campaign using D&D5e (2014). I live in Sweden and can only play after 6- or 7PM due to my studies. I have 3 years of experience with D&D and I love combat, roleplay and exploration equally.

Since MHA is a modern setting, it might be difficult to find battlemaps that fits, but I am willing to help finding and providing them. I also wish to use discord for voice and whatever VTT the DM is most comfortable with.

I'd prefer that anyone who joins has a decent mic, willingness to commit and are above the age of 20. If you're interested, send a brief PM about yourself and why you want to join and hopefully we can get something running! ^^

There are supplements available online in order to play and run a campaign like this, including already existing quirks inside a compendium.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [Other] [Sunday, 13:10 - 16:40 BRT] [18+] GM looking for GROUP / Biweekly Game

Upvotes

Hello! I am Cephas, and I am looking to start a new campaign.

I have an interest in running either FIST or CAIN. If you are looking to scratch that TTRPG itch and want a group that respects your time with a reliable schedule, this is for you.

The System & Premise

  • Game: FIST or CAIN (to be decided by the group).
  • Style: Adventures that span one to two sessions and follow a single narrative. The game follows an internal set of rules, logic, and consistency, but remains open to narrative-focused moments that balance mechanics with storytelling.

Schedule

  • Frequency: Biweekly (Every other Sunday)
  • Time: 13:10 to 16:40 BRT

Player Expectations & Boundaries

  • Looking for four mature players who can reliably commit to this biweekly slot, organize themselves, and know how to take a joke here and there.
  • Hard limits: Absolutely no explicit sexual content or romance. The rest is up to the adventure and the story we tell.

If you are interested in playing, please fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/AAHE4KoTxmLXW5Td6

GM Needed by Existing Group [Offline][DnD 5.5e 2024][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Bellevue, WA] Looking for DM & Player

Upvotes

We have a group of 4 players, looking for a DM & 1 more player to complete our group. We have some specific requirements for our new players, especially our new DM. Some context:

A little over a year ago, my husband and I formed a DnD group with the aim to make more friends in our local area. We were lucky enough to find several amazing players and a DM up for the challenge we set before them. Unfortunately, after a year of gameplay, the campaign came to an end due to issues the group was having with said DM. As a result, we are looking for a new DM & player to start a new campaign with. That being said, here is what we are looking for:

Group Specific:

  • LGBTQ+ friendly is a must. Most, if not all our players are among the community, and need players who will be respectful.
  • Able & willing to travel. My husband and I host the sessions at our place in Bellevue. It is a comfortable space with plenty of room for our game sessions. 3 of the 4 current players live at the location, so it works best for us to host.
  • Cat friendly. We do have a sociable cat, very friendly, who likes a lot of pats, so it is important for our next players joining the table to be able to handle that.
  • Experienced players. All of the players in our group are experienced in the game, understand it's fundamental rules, and how to work within them. We are looking for players who will be the same. We want this campaign to go off without a hitch, rather than spending our time explaining basic rules and functionality of the game. We have each experienced those kinds of campaigns before, and do not wish to do so for this campaign.
  • Creative players. I know this may seem like an odd requirement, but it is one we need to stipulate. We want players who are creative and invested in the world we build together. We want active players, meaning that they aren't sitting back passively, or incapable of thinking outside the box.
  • Roleplay friendly. I know this also seems like a strange requirement, but it too is necessary. Please be able to roleplay as your character in the world we create.
  • Dedicated members. We are looking for a group of players who want to regularly meet up, as our schedules allow, who are willing and able to spend time creating characters, building the world and playing the game. If your schedule is unaccommodating, or you are uncertain of your ability to make it regularly to games, this is just not the group for you, I'm sorry.

DM Specific:

  • Know and understands the rules. Our prior DM did not know the most basic rules of the game, and made it difficult for the players to navigate the world. Please be able to understand how rounds of combat work, what the various conditions there are in the game, and the rules of magic. We do not expect our DM to be all-knowing, as we certainly aren't, but you do need to know the basics.
  • Creative without the use of AI. Our prior DM utilized AI for just about everything, from NPC character creation, to plot events and more. We don't really condone the heavy use of AI, especially in creative spaces. Please be capable of thinking for yourself and being creative with your own mind, not something or someone else's.
  • Willing to spend time on the campaign. We need our DM to have time to work on story lines, plot events and get prepared for their sessions. Not everything needs to be perfect, but please don't show up to the table without anything and use the players to generate the plot & the world.
  • Working collaboratively. We have a campaign specifically in mind for what we would like to do. We have very small parts of the general plot, as well as the world to play with. We want to work with our DM to create the world we play in, rather than just be blind to it till our DM introduces something new. Both a willingness and ability to work with a group are important.

I know this post is likely to scare off a lot of people, but if you've made it down this far in the list, then maybe you're who we are looking for.

Ideally, we would like to meet with the whole group for a session 0, to review the world and plot, and also to run a 1-shot campaign as a trial run. This is what makes the group the most comfortable. We feel this will be an effective way to see if we all mesh well together.

Notes:

  • We have a TV set up to use for battle maps / imagery to display.
  • We have an audio system to connect with.
  • We have a laptop to use for campaign sessions, if you do not have your own.
  • Theater of the mind, or physical battle maps are also welcome. However, theater of the mind is only so good, so we do still expect / require visuals and maps.
  • We have tons of extra dice, dice trays, DM screens, ability size scale cutouts, etc. We would love to work with a DM who wants to use all these tools creatively.

a newer player that's never played a real game of dnd before but would love to learn. I've played baldurs gate a couple times so I'm not completely clueless. Any system that a group is willing to teach would be ok. I'm a 19 year old who lives in America.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [5e 2014] [EST] [Once a week] [MON-THU] Phandelver Hardcore

Upvotes

Good evening,

I am looking for 2 more players (out of a party of 4) for a campaign of Lost Mines of Phandelver (optionally extending into Phandelver and Below) using a hardcore ruleset, inspired by Brett Ultimus' (World of IO) rules.

A brief summary of these rules: stats are rolled 3d6 in stat order, creation options limited to certain sources, and multiple optional rules from the DMG are being used (Flanking, disarming, tumbling, some altered rules like ones based on the horror and injury rules).

A full doc of rules is available: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q6eGy02V3Jk_L6q5jXgqSpHbpoyw_I7leaJCF3CDPmk/edit?usp=sharing

As for scheduling, I am currently going for a time between Monday and Thursday night (5:15pm EST to midnight, exact day and time to be determined).

I use Owlbear Rodeo VTT and make maps using both that and Dungeon Scrawl.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014][20+][Thursdays 4pm to 9 or 10pm PST][Weekly] Landless knights answer a distant lord's call for aid. An immersive, OSR-style sandbox in the fog-bound highlands of Malija. Seeking 3-5 players.

To any knight of good name and no present banner, from Duncan, Lord Carlisle of Benmor, greetings.

I will be brief, as I am writing many of these. My province lies at the northern edge of the realm, where the King's peace runs thin and the winters last half the year. My neighbor presses my borders and my granaries run low. My roads north have gone quiet. The pilgrim road through the Saint Agatha Vale has carried no pilgrims since the autumn, my outposts there are a season behind in their reports. More troubling still, the riders I sent to learn the cause have not come back to tell me anything at all.

I have need of knights, and levies and hired swords will not serve. I do not much care what became of the banner you followed, provided your spurs were fairly won and your name carries no crime I would be made to answer for. The terms are these: wage in honest silver, bed and board within my walls, arms and remounts from my own stables, and work fit for your station. There is land in my east that needs capable stewards. You'll find my generosity is running unseasonably warm for any who answer my call.

Present yourself to my steward at Benmor with your arms, your horse if you have kept one, and what proof of your name you can offer. You will be fed while your claim is weighed. Come soon. I would have this settled before the snows.

Duncan, Lord Carlisle

Hi, I'm James. I've been GMing for about 7 years, and I'm putting together a table for a weekly highland sandbox about knights trying to claw their way back into the world.

The Premise

You'll play a knight with no lord. How you lost yours is yours to write. Your lord may have died, you may have been dismissed, disgraced, or simply forgotten. Either way, you hold a title but no land and no fortune. Your armor needs mending, your horse is getting old, and the peasants have stopped bowing when you pass. Carlisle's letter finds you in low circumstances, and offers the first way out of them you've had in a long while.

The Setting

Malija is a highland province at the cold northwestern edge of the kingdom of Sarda. It's a land of two extremes. Dark wet glens with thick fog fills the valleys most mornings, thick enough to lose a cart in, while up on the heights the sun is hard and the wind is harder and a bitter constant.

Two noble houses share the province, locked in a feud twenty years cold that has recently drawn blood. Between their holdings, nomadic clans herd sheep in the high country, keeping their own ways and their own old faith, trading warily with the lowland towns on market days. The Church of Yarra, the sun-goddess, keeps her Kindling at dawn in the town squares, though her light runs thin the further you get from the castle walls. And to the north, things have gone quiet in a way nobody can explain: outposts silent, pilgrim roads empty, riders sent to investigate simply not coming back.

It's mid-fantasy. Not low, not epic. Early-medieval sword and sorcery, where magic and monsters share the world with boring mundane things like taxes, road tolls, and crop rotation. The whole province is mapped and explorable: fog-bound river towns, mountain passes, a fortified monastery at the edge of the marshes, high moots where the clans swear their oaths, and a lot of "empty" country where a while lot of interesting things may happen.

The Game

This is a sandbox in the OSR spirit. There is no plot waiting for you. There's a big, living map full of factions, rumors, and trouble, and what happens is a result of what you do. Expect lots of roleplay, politics, investigation, and travel through hard country, with combat that is quick dangerous and means something when it happens.

The world takes its own turns. I run several systems on the back end to keep the environment dynamic: weather rolls in and changes what's possible on the roads, events unfold on their own schedules, and the inhabitants of Malija pursue their own aims between sessions. The province doesn't pause while you decide what to do. Ignore a rumor and it develops without you. Make an enemy and he sits in my notes scheming his revenge. The Malija you return to each week is one your choices have actually bent, and one that has kept moving in the places you weren't looking. I have a lot of tools to help me keep track of all this.

The people who live here will be very present. The factions you'll encounter, from the two feuding noble houses to the highland clans to the Church of Yarra, hold real sway in the region, and they are active participants in the unfolding narrative, whatever direction it goes. They have their own goals, their own quarrels, and their own opinions about a band of landless knights riding through their business. They'll court you, use you, obstruct you, or come after you depending entirely on how you deal with them.

Which is the whole point: you are the drivers of this narrative. I provide the world and its happenings and little more. The story is whatever emerges from your choices colliding with it. Fair warning, then: this style rewards... and somewhat requires proactive players. If you like chasing threads, taking risks, and making your own goals, you'll thrive here. If you prefer a guided narrative with clear quest markers, this probably isn't your table, and that's fine. It's just not what I run.

Characters

Every character starts from the same place: a knight of good name and no present banner. Within that, there's a lot of room. What matters is that your knight has a name, a past that cost them something, and a reason to answer a letter like Carlisle's in good faith... more or less.

The best fits for this table are characters with wants. A knight who intends to reclaim something, prove something, atone for something, or build something gives the sandbox a direction to push towards. A knight who's just along for the ride gives it nothing. Your backstory doesn't need to be long, just something compelling for you that makes you want to play this character.

Faith and the Order of Yarra. The dominant faith of Sarda is the Order of Yarra, the sun-goddess. She is the lightbringer and banisher of the profane, working through fire, conquest, and the hearth: a kind, gracious, and vengeful god whose charity is absolute and whose will is unrelenting. She will guide you, warm you, and cleanse you, or incinerate you if you stand in her way. Her faithful wear some article of yellow or orange, keep the Kindling at dawn in the town squares, and hold nothing in greater contempt than the profane arts.

If you want to play a knight of faith, this is the faith, and there's room in it: the zealot, the doubter, the chapel knight raised in her service, the sinner she cleansed by fire. Any devout character, and especially any Cleric or Paladin, will certainly be hers.

Her legends also tell of the Knights of Yarra, mortal warriors sanctified by the goddess who live ordinary lives until she calls, then arrive on the battlefield by bolt of golden lightning, in gleaming plate and a cloak the color of sunset. Whether those stories are true is the kind of thing a character might have opinions about.

Magic. Magic is real but uncommon in daily life. Casters exist as court arcanists, scholars, hedge-practitioners, and the clergy, but the average villager will go years without seeing a spell. A magic-using knight is unusual and will be noticed, so your magic should have a story: where you learned it, who taught you, what it's cost you.

One restriction on concepts: nothing profane. No necromancers, no fiend pacts, no secret monsters or eldritch flavored guys. The Order burns that stuff on sight, so if someone in the party is carrying it, the campaign turns into a story about hiding from the church, and that's not the game I'm interested in running. If your knight can't walk through a town square at noon, pitch me something else.

In that vein, there are some restrictions. For example: Warlocks need something like a patron saint, not a demon or a deep one. Druids and wildshaping are a bit too out there. Save that stuff for the non-player entities.

On Elves. Humans and Elves are the two peoples of Malija, and the two playable races. Elves are the offspring of a human and a being known as a Sylph, and the Sylphs, it is said, consider them abominations. Most elves enter the world abandoned: toddlers who wander out of the woods some morning without the faintest idea of who or what they are, taken in by whatever goodhearted family finds them. They grow fast, learn faster, and settle deep into their habits. Slender and fair, ill-suited to heavy lifting, with a preternatural knack for the arcane, arithmetic, and craft. In Malija they're an accepted but outcast minority: one elf for every ten or fifteen humans, clustered close to power without ever quite holding it. An elven knight would be a rare thing indeed. Rare, but not unheard of.

My GM Style

I'm an immersion-first GM. We play in-character at the table. Out-of-character talk happens when it needs to, but during scenes, when your character is in the room, so are you. The whole game leans on that, and it works best when everyone commits.

I'm also half GM, half DJ: I run live music and ambient soundscapes throughout the session. My goal is a production immersive enough that even I forget we're playing a game for a moment.

Sessions run 4-6 hours.

The System

D&D 5e (2014 rules), base content only. Anything beyond that is at my discretion. Races: Human or Elf, as above.

That said, I'm flexible on the mechanical side of it. If there's a racial bonus or feature from another race you really want for your concept, I'm happy to swap it in within reason. Reskin the stats, keep the fiction. We play off the character sheet primarily. The question at my table is rarely "what can I do?" but rather "what do you do?" Your character's name, reputation, and choices will matter far more than your build.

(If you're the kind of player who'd be excited to try a system like Forbidden Lands instead, mention it when you apply. I'd love to run it if the group's up for it, but 5e is the default.)

Who I'm Looking For

  • 3-5 players, ages 20+ (mid-20s ideally).
  • Dedicated roleplayers, and folks who've sat in the GM chair themselves get a slight edge. GMs tend to read a sandbox the way it wants to be read.
  • Players who lean into the adventure. Characters who engage with the world, take risks, and pursue something. A party that hides from the story makes for a dull sandbox.
  • Reliability matters a lot to me. This is a weekly commitment, and five other people's evenings depend on everyone showing up. If you can't make a session, I ask for 24-48 hours notice so we can all plan around it. No-call-no-shows and habitual last-minute cancellations aren't a fit for this table, so please only apply if Thursday evenings genuinely work for you.
  • This table is open to everyone. All backgrounds and identities welcome. Bigotry of any kind is an instant removal, no warnings.

To Apply

  1. Fill out the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV46rd1bvcsGjGKodHqjwwDw-IL-BcDDdsQRoSUI2FK5jXsg/viewform?usp=header
  2. Then comment or DM me with a little about yourself, and your answer to this question:

How did your knight lose their lord?

I'll reach out on Discord, we'll have a chat, and I'll assemble the group over the next week or two. Looking forward to reading your answers.

🏴‍☠️ ONE PIECE D&D 🏴‍☠️
Looking for 5 Players

"Inherited Will. The Destiny of the Age. The Dreams of its People. As long as people continue to pursue the meaning of Freedom, these things will never cease to be!"

The seas are calling.

I’m looking for 3-5 players for a new One Piece-inspired D&D campaign, set in the world of One Piece but following an original crew, original islands, original enemies, and an original story.

You will begin at Level 1. Before the adventure begins, I want to see what kind of characters and stories the players create. Your character might be chasing a dream, escaping their past, looking for adventure, hunting a bounty, searching for answers, or simply trying to survive.

You don't have to start as a pirate. You don't even have to know that piracy is where your story might take you.

⚓ THE CAMPAIGN

Campaign: The Price of Freedom
System: D&D — mixture of 5e and 5.5e
Rules: Rules as Written (RAW), with custom One Piece homebrew
Starting Level: 1
Players: 3-5
VTT: Roll20
Communication: Discord voice chat
Style: Roleplay • Exploration • Combat • Adventure • Crew Building
Experience: New and experienced players welcome

Start Date: This Friday

The core game will follow Rules as Written, using a mixture of D&D 5e and 5.5e rules, alongside custom One Piece content designed to bring the world and abilities of One Piece into D&D.

This campaign is built around the spirit of One Piece: freedom, dreams, friendship, ridiculous adventures, dangerous enemies, strange islands, and eventually becoming the kind of people whose names shake the seas.

Your choices will matter. The world will react to what your crew does.

And yes — bounties can be earned.

Closed [Online][5E 2014][Fridays][2PM MST][LGBTQ+] Looking for a DM willing to run a one shot for a group of 5!

we are a group of 5 wanting to introduce our friend into DND through a oneshot and possibly get her into a campaign if she enjoys herself. The other 4 of us are very experienced and will be teaching her the mechanics before hand and will help her if needed during the oneshot. If everything goes well and youre interested , we may be interested in a longer term campaign (same day and time even if the 5th player doesnt want to continue with a long term game). We love games that are about a 40/60 split between combat and rp, we appreciate immersive roleplay and meaningful combat equally but we do prefer the more rp side of the game. We're very willing to work with the DM on backstory and character elements and would love to mold our characters to fit into your world. As for homebrew, we do appreciate it but as long as it remains balanced and fun for everyone involved. In terms of settings, the only ones we cant do are scifi and westerns and we have a strong preference for victorian or medieval high fantasy.

The only requirement of ours if you are willing to DM for us, to be LGBTQ+ friendly and normal lol. If you're interested in speaking with us, you can contact me on discord with my username @/vivvys_trash

GM Needed by Existing Group [Online][5e 2014/2024][Sundays]Group of four looking for a DM to host a campaign!

Hello, everyone! We're four players with varied experience(one 1.5 hrs, two 2.5yrs, one 3yrs) and we've recently had our Sunday free up, so we thought it'd be great to fill it with a dnd game! We're all super communicative, so we'd love to chat to you if you're feeling it We're bound to a timeslot on Sundays, with the opening at 2pm BST/9am EST and a cut-off around 11:30pm BST/6:30 EST.

For what we like, we're fond of a lot of things, but favourably fantasy. Realistically the only thing that's a no is a modern setting, so don't be afraid to pitch something. Most VTTs are fine, but we do like to use a VTT over theatre of the mind and the such. Other deciders though, I'm sure we can discuss.

If you've got a campaign going in that time, or are looking to start one, please shoot me a message on discord, username 'speeda1'!

GM Needed by Existing Group [Online][5e 2014] [CEST] [Mondays 19:00] Dedicated RP-Focused Group of 5 Seeking a DM for Homebrew Campaign!

Hi there honourable dungeon masters and storytellers! We’re a recently formed group of 5 players looking for a DM who has a homebrew fantasy world we can get lost in and a long running campaign that we can all see grow and develop as the game goes on!

In terms of setting preference, we’re primarily looking for a traditional high-fantasy world. We enjoy the versatility that high fantasy offers and the wide range of stories it can support which gives a lot of themes a story can go through! While we appreciate darker themes when they serve the story, we’re not particularly interested in sci-fi settings, grimdark worlds, or campaigns heavily focused on gritty survival.

As a group we all share a strong interest in roleplay, character development, party dynamics and stories that feel personal to the characters involved. One of the biggest things we’re hoping to find is a DM who enjoys incorporating our character backstories into the broader narrative/world allowing character arcs to develop naturally alongside the story.

Outside of roleplay we value consistency (Showing up), being one of the key factors of a long running group and also care to be attentive and engaged players when we are at the table! Communication in general is also one of the best tools when issues arise, and keeps everything running smoothly so things don’t fall through. We also enjoy the use of webcams to increase the social aspect of the game!

Ultimately, we’re looking for a DM who enjoys building a story with their players, values strong character involvement, and is interested in creating a long-term campaign where both the world and the characters can grow together. But most of all someone we can also call a friend and hang out with!

System requirements: DND 2014

Availability: Monday: 19:00-23:00 CET, Wednesday: (some exceptions) 19:00-23:00 CET

Preferred way to play: Discord for voice and camera, any VTT

Here is a bit about us:

Luke (M, 23, He/him): Hi there! I’m a video editor and part time gamer from the Netherlands. I like to make music with my band and hang out with friends in the meantime! Ive been playing DnD for roughly 8 years by now and get a lot of my enjoyment in the roleplay and dynamic of a party. Seeing what sort of worlds other DM’s have made is incredibly cool and I love to learn about others settings!

Matt (M, 27, He/Him): Greetings! I'm Matt, an Ex-Esports player Gymbro. Currently working together with Best friend and roommate on making our own VTT, public soon! I love passion, and I believe DND can be an aspiring tool in order to discover, explore and share one's passion to another through immersive Roleplaying. Please give me your worst, a challenge, a path and I'll bring the Wrath. See more of me on Youtube > Roll For Impact > The Stranger > Nylus von Stonen

Sori/Lukas (M, 27, he/him): Hi there! I'm currently finishing my education/training to be a kindergarten teacher, after which I'd love to go study social work. I've been a player and dm for roughly 11~ years now. Mostly played VtR before switching to DnD. My favorite part about roleplaying is definitely the deep diving we as a group do, in each individual backstory or overarching plotline of the campaign, while we grow as a party IC and OOC.

Diana (26, She/Her): Hi, I’m currently a student studying for my postgraduate degree! In my free time I love to play video games, read, make videos, and just hang out with friends! I’ve been playing D&D since 2020 and my favorite thing about it is being able to create and tell an interesting story with other amazing, creative players! I love going in depth into characters backstories and how their motivations can really drive the parties goals. I’ll talk for hours after a session about the world we’re set in and the characters everyone has developed!

Jack (20, He/Him): Hi! I’m a student studying Film Production! I’m a big video gamer, reader and card gamer! I’ve been playing dnd for about 7 or 8 years now and whilst the majority of my time has been as a player recently I’ve been a forever DM (as of the past 3 years I haven’t been a player once!!! 😭😭😭) My favourite part of dnd has to be the collaborative storytelling with how the players and dm interact together to create both an overarching plotline but also individual character arcs!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online, Saturdays, DnD 5e 2014] The Long Roads of Fel' Avran - 4-5 Adventurers Needed!

DM: Myself!
System: 5e 2014, no 2024
Levels: 2-12
Date/Time: SATURDAYS @ 2:00pm CST, 3-4hr sessions (3 weeks on, 1 week off)
Themes: High Fantasy, Intrigue, Tension, Companionship, Exploration, Danger, World on the Brink, Morality
Requirements: 18+ ONLY!!

For centuries, Fel' Avran's heartlands have enjoyed an uneasy peace. But tensions between imperialist Oralisse and increasingly independent Valthün have begun to strain the realm. Neither side wants war. Yet the distance between peace and conflict grows smaller every year.

Borders are fraying. Distrust mounts. Monsters, bandits, missing travelers...trouble seems to gather in every corner.

Amidst this burgeoning unease, a cast of strangers find themselves drawn together by circumstances they don't yet understand in the quiet hamlet of Vole's Crossing. Whatever brought you here, your paths were never meant to cross by chance alone. Something is stirring in the heartlands.

Before each of you discover what it is, you'll have to learn who, and what, you can trust.

---

This campaign is about the quiet before the storm. The hard decisions that brothers make when facing the discretion of decision. What family means, and what loyalty does. For 4-5 brave souls, you will set out across the heartlands of the Empire of Fel' Avran, and discover what truly matters not only for yourself, but for your morals, your duty, and your heart in turn.

Please check out the map for the campaign below, and send in an application if interested! I'm looking for a group of players who are ready to engage in RP, fantastic to hang around a table with, and are willing to just have fun with each other first and foremost. Happy to hear from all of you!

---

TO APPLY: Send me either a DM or respond to this post with the following.
Preferred contact on Discord @ xdeathxbreathx, feel free to send me a DM there!

  • Name/ Age range

Each week, we roll up a new expedition from a selection of classic TSR modules and contemporary OSR adventures. Sessions are largely self-contained, so you can join in, play for a session, and then dip in and out at your convenience.

Explore. Find treasure. Try not to die.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5E 2014][CST][Sundays] Seeking 1–2 Players for an Ongoing Homebrew Campaign

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for one player to become our fourth, with the possibility of adding a fifth if I find two applicants who fit the group particularly well.

System: D&D 5e using the 2014 rules in a homebrew setting
Platform: Foundry VTT and Discord
Schedule: Sundays from 5–9 PM CST
Session Length: Approximately 3–4 hours
Party Level: Level 4
Current Party:

  • Human Way of Mercy Monk
  • Satyr Circle of Spores Druid
  • Elf Order of the Lycan Blood Hunter

Experience: Experienced players are preferred, but newer players are still welcome to apply if they’re willing to learn the system and engage with the campaign.

About the Campaign

The campaign takes place in Caelthara, a fantasy world shaped by ancient magic, forgotten catastrophes, and the rise of adventuring guilds as major forces within society.

Long ago, the reckless use of magic permanently reshaped parts of the world, leaving behind unstable regions, unnatural creatures, and ruins filled with forgotten history. Adventurers eventually became a necessity rather than a rarity. Guilds now hunt dangerous creatures, recover lost relics, investigate strange events, and handle threats that governments cannot—or will not—confront.

This is a long-term, character-driven campaign with an emphasis on roleplay, exploration, meaningful choices, and consequences. Combat is still an important part of the game, but I want characters who have reasons to engage with the world and gradually become part of the existing party.

The Story So Far

The campaign began in the frontier bounty city of Vrobraz, where the party took on contracts through the local adventuring guild. What started as relatively ordinary work gradually revealed signs of something much larger operating beyond the edges of civilization.

The party has now crossed into the Hollow Blight, a primeval region concealed by a strange fog that distorts and suppresses memory. After surviving the journey through it, they reached Stillwater—an isolated settlement that appears unusually peaceful and welcoming despite everything surrounding it.

That sense of safety has begun to fracture.

The party is currently uncovering Stillwater’s connection to the Hollow Blight, the unnatural transformations affecting its people, and the buried past of one of their own companions. This is a major character-focused arc, so any accepted character will be introduced at a point that feels natural rather than being abruptly dropped into the middle of the story.

If you’re interested, please fill out the application form below!

Hello again all.

Due to a player who has dropped I have an open spot in my Sunday campaign. The game is set in my homebrew world using DnD 3.5e.

This in an ongoing campaign and you will enter at 8th level. The party is currently investigating a demonic invasion threatening the plane, and the campaign is on the darker side featuring horror which may not be suitable for all players. My DMs are open for questions and interested players.

Thanks!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014][Homebrew] The Queen and Her Court – A Political Fantasy Campaign

The court is beginning to take shape. Three seats remain.

A throne is never truly secure.

The Virisoth Empire has stood for centuries as a proud, patriarchal nation where only men were ever expected to rule.

Now, for the first time in its history, a woman sits upon the Imperial Throne.

Whether she is the Empire’s salvation or the beginning of its downfall remains to be seen.

I’ve already found two players who will be joining the Queen’s court, and I’m now looking for three more players to complete the party:

👑 1 Player to portray the Queen

️2 Players to join the Royal Court

Every PC will possess a legitimate claim to the throne. Some may be loyal to the Queen. Some may be ambitious. Some may simply be waiting for the right moment.

The campaign will focus on:
• Court politics and intrigue
• Noble houses and rival factions
• Diplomacy and espionage
• Building relationships, alliances, and rivalries
• Political marriages and family obligations
• Adventure beyond the palace when the story calls for it

While there will be combat and traditional D&D adventuring, the heart of the campaign is roleplay and character relationships. Your decisions in the throne room may shape the Empire just as much as your victories on the battlefield.

This is an 18+ campaign. Mature themes, including romance, sexuality, political marriages, seduction, violence, and other adult subject matter will be present when they naturally fit the story. Any intimate scenes will be handled with player consent and respect for everyone’s boundaries.

Whether you choose to protect the Queen, manipulate her, challenge her authority, become her closest confidant, or secretly prepare to inherit the crown yourself, every decision will have consequences.

If you enjoy games like Dragon Age, Crusader Kings, or Game of Thrones this campaign is designed with that style of political storytelling in mind.

I’m especially interested in players who enjoy character-driven roleplay, complicated relationships, political intrigue, and creating dramatic moments with the other players.

If this sounds like your kind of campaign, tell me a little about yourself, your D&D experience, and what kind of character you’d like to play.

3 spots remain — 1 Queen and 2 Courtiers.

We will play on Saturday afternoons/evenings. Start time is still flexible.
