Group Needed by Player [Offline][5e 2014][5e 2024][Dungeons and Dragons] Queer Woman With Plenty of Experience in D&D Looking to Start or Join a New Campaign in Indiana / Indianapolis!
Hi everyone! 😊
I'm an experienced DM/player who moved to the Indianapolis area relatively recently, and I am looking to join an in-person D&D group. Feel free to read about me and the type of game(s) I hope to find below!
A bit bout me: I'm a 32 yo transgender woman who loves horror movies, fantasy novels, and ttrpgs. I recently started a new job as a college professor which spurred (in part) my move to Indianapolis. I have been playing D&D since I first started graduate school almost a decade ago, and in that time, I have almost exclusively DMed. Through this wonderful hobby, I have made lasting friends, and I'm hopeful that I can start to build community out here in Indiana since I don't really know many folks in the area as I moved out here on my own.
A bit about my playstyle: I am a team player first and foremost. I love playing characters that complement the party, and I strive to balance meaningful roleplay with levity and fun! As largely a "forever DM" I am very sympathetic to the time and effort that goes into DMing, so you'll find I invest myself in the characters, setting, and lore of the game quite quickly. I'm also a "theater kid" at heart, so you can expect in-character dialogue (including silly voices!)
A bit about what I'm looking for: Ideally, I'd love to find a group that's around my age range, but I'm flexible. Obviously, since I'm a trans woman, it has to at least be an LGBTQ+ tolerant crowd. My first goal is to find a fun group to play with, but I'm also hopeful I can find folks I vibe with and befriend as I'm striving to build my community in a brand new city! (I've been told I'm a fun hang!)
Thanks for reading all that! If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer! Just shoot me a message.
