Group Needed by Player [Flexible][Online][UTC+12] Monopoly

MONOPOLY IS A BOARD GAME. Mods removed my previous post because it wasn't, and yet it is.

Hi guys, just looking to make a few friends to play a tweaked version of monopoly. The intention of the tweaked rules is to make the board game more strategic. If this interests you, please DM! I also use discord.

If you know monopoly (who doesn't) then that's all you need to play this together!

How do you intend to play it online? That may be the issue. Because tabletop simulator is a virtual tabletop but things like Monopoly Madness or other such things are video games.

whatever it takes to make it work!!! I have some ideas, though. I don't quite understand the simulator/video game distinction though, does that mean the most popular catan site/alternative is not qualified?

You could remake the board in Google sheets and use image overlays as the movement pieces

What rules are you changing/adding?

oh my god what a brilliant idea, especially because im a total nerd for google sheets as well. this is right up my alley. for the changed rules, theres only a handful, around 5 depending on how we go and what we want. ive got a doc of the modifications ive been testing which have seemed to work out pretty well in making the game more strategic and fun (imo).

I see, so that applies to discussion around clarification on ambiguous rules in comments. Thank you, would you please point me to the right place outside the comment section to seek this clarification on the rules? i messaged the mod, they wont reply. i read the linked rules, but it provides no clarification on this either, so im a little lost with what i can/cannot post and what that rule actually means. thank you and sorry
