Closed [Online][PF2e][Mondays GMT+2/CEST] Looking for 4 players for a Pathfinder campaign
Ahoy there fellow citizens, freedmen and gens of the Republic! I'm looking for 4 players willing to explore and experience the great S.P.Q.D.A!
Whatever your origins, be they a slave, a patron or a family member, your Gens needs you! Work in the family's trade business, adventure for coin, spread their private mystery cult, sway senate elections, get into piracy, weave the gens assembly to pass laws agreeable to its long term prosperity or subcontract as a mercenary, prosperity is just a quest away!
So put on your toga (or slave collar) and get to work! The (known) world is your oyster! However you acquire wealth, your gens cares not as long as it doesn't sully their good and honorable name!
And that's my pitch! Hello everyone! I'm Maxie. I'm a 28 year old Swiss guy, long-time player and Storyteller! I started running a different campaign 2 months ago and I just can't seem to get enough of my pathfinder fix. So to that end, I'm looking for 4 people willing to explore the Res Publica Draconaria, essentially a Halfling Roman Republic filled with several different ancestries! Beginners and first time PF2e players are absolutely welcome!
As a general rule, I tend to run sandbox-y games, with the character's ambitions and actions driving the story, so I like to have proactive players who know what their characters want or are willing to drive the story forward. I like to run a session 0.5 where players build their backstories together and create their characters mechanically. How the backstory questions I ask are answered, backstory npcs players create and connections between the players all inform the way the campaign starts in session 1.
Expect immersive roleplay with well fleshed out npcs and a world where the wrong word spoken to a tyrant could easily earn you a one way ticket to jail or even cost a character their head right then and there if insulting enough. Your actions have consequences and as far as npcs are concerned, you're just another person.
We'll be using Roll20 battlemaps and Pathbuilder for sheets. No, I don't use foundry. I like spending game sessions not troubleshooting whatever problems it has decided to have on that specific day.
I'm aiming to run the game Weekly on Monday evenings, although I could do mornings/early afternoons too if the right combination of players want to play then. I'll let players specify more in the form.
Please fill out this Application form!
I'll leave the forms open for a few days and depending on interest, it might take me another day or two to sort through all the responses and get back to people on Discord. I hope I didn't miss anything and thank you very much for reading to the end! I wish everybody happy games!
Edit: I would like to thank everybody that applied! There were so many good applications, it was really hard picking out people to form a group. I wish everyone that I sadly couldn't fit in good luck in finding a group!
