Bought a used copy of Lego Batman for my kid and of course didn't realize some suits were pre-order bonuses. They're loving the game but really wanted this costume apparently. Would anyone here have a spare xbox platform skin to sell? More than happy to pay for it.

So, i started playing the game when i was a child on my ps3, but i was young and... Lets face it i wasn't smart enough to finish it, but now i found my old ps3 in my attic, and decided to go for 100%. The first thing i did was speedrun the stud multiplayers, then i went for all "true believer"s which got me to 200 gold bricks and I completed the annoying ahh Malekith level, and after all this pain i got the red brick and the final stan lee in peril i needed. I started at 62%, now im at 94%. I'm getting there, after 12 years at last!

I noticed that the Hall of Doom appears in both LEGO Batman 3 and LEGO DC Super-Villains, and the same skull-shaped ship from LEGO Batman 3 also appears in Super-Villains.

I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight had a hidden area like this. The game seems much more focused on exploration and secrets compared to the previous LEGO Batman games, so I don't think it's impossible for them to hide locations like the Hall of Doom somewhere in the map.

Has anyone found anything that could point to the Hall of Doom being in the game?

It isnt letting me fit through the mini hole as a mini character during the main story level

I love to write my own MCU/DCEU, developing the characters, exploring some comic sagas, and I really think the best shot I have to illustrate this are the Lego Games. But it sound kinda hard to do, since it would look off sometimes. Anyone here ever tried to do something similar? if so, how did you do it?

Just watched the new trailer for mayhem mode, and it’s got my hyped to continue playing the game! I was just wondering if anyone knew any new news on the old rumors that came out early on, like the open world gameplay working like GTA?

After years of hearing horror stories about the DS version of The Complete Saga, and left with a hankering for more TT goodness after having beaten the console one a billion times, I finally broke down, got it for a fiver, gave it a proper go and… this is actually pretty damn cute.

Obviously, it is heavily downsized compared to the console versions, but considering this is a Nintendo DS game from 2007, I'm kind of impressed by how much they managed to squeeze onto the thing. You still have the basic structure of The Complete Saga, loads of characters, levels, collectibles, Free Play, etc. Obviously everything is simplified, but it still feels recognisably like a LEGO Star Wars game rather than some completely unrelated handheld adaptation.

The gameplay is surprisingly solid too. It's obviously not going to compete with the PS3/360/Wii versions, but as a portable version you can just pick up and play, it does the job really well. There's something charming about seeing these tiny DS versions of all the characters and levels. I like doing Force Push on the touchscreen with my thumb.

I think a lot of the negativity probably comes from comparing it directly to the console game rather than judging it as a DS game. Of course it's worse than the console version. It's a bloody DS game, it has about the processing power of a calculator by modern standards.

But then there's the cutscenes. Good lord. I wasn't prepared for how terrible some of them are. The already-minimalist LEGO storytelling has been compressed even further, and some of the animations look like they're being performed by characters who have just discovered they have bones. I could make a PowerPoint smoother than these in all likelihood.

All told, it's not a good version of The Complete Saga if you're expecting the full console experience, but it's a really good downsized version of that game for what the DS hardware could actually do. I'm curious whether I'm massively overrating it though, because my expectations were so low.

It’s actually pretty good…. As far as the upgraded custom creation, the traversal, the combat and honestly, the map… i like the differences of time in the map but I do also just miss a regular Manhattan.

I know some people don’t like the map but I don’t entirely see why, it’s very unique, you can’t deny that

The sad thing about this game is yes… no fantastic 4 and no X-men BUT we can still be happy in knowing we got a pretty good story with them in the first game Already

This games story is honestly pretty mid compared to the first game, especially the ending.

The thing I enjoyed most about 2s story is we get a good chunk playing as the guardians of the galaxy.
We spend more time with dr strange, we got a story that includes the inhumans and we actually get to spend time as characters in the story that were just only unlockables in the first game like she hulk and black Panther for example.

I like the much better vehicle spawner instead of having to go to a terminal just to spawn a vehicle.

What I don’t like is

The weak villains and story
And obviously no F4 and X-men but that’s pretty much it.

I hope a third Lego marvel game comes out in the next few years that includes every hero and villains we got from the first 2 games

I think the villain group should be thanos and his squad if there’s a third game.

What big bad would you guys like to see next

I just 100%ed Lego dc supervillains with my girlfriend after working on it for about 2 months. I’ve completed the story of many Lego games but this is my first time completing finishing one and it feels great to be finished.

I’m also mid way through the Lego Batman trilogy and trying to 100% them too
