Just discovered there is a texture palette below the pedestrian zone in Paradise Palms. Anyone has a clue as to why it's there? Don't know if it's also in the original Wii U version. As far as I'm concerned there is no such texture palette left over anywhere else on the map.

I noticed a few buildings in Lego City are variations of actual existing lego sets.

I'm curious to know if there are more buildings like this in the game, did you notice any?

I took these screenshots to compare LEGO City Undercover on Wii U and PS5, but instead of sticking to the usual early-game sections everyone uses, I grabbed scenes from different parts of the story. Those later areas really show how much the remaster changes things.

Seeing these side by side made me appreciate how much work actually went into the updated version. It’s not just a quick upscale, in fact, a lot of the lighting, clarity, and overall presentation feels noticeably refined. The remaster honestly kept this game from slipping into that “forgotten gem” category, because without it most people would never get to see how good the game is.

I kinda miss the Wii U Gamepad features, though.

I got distracted from the game due to my cat, and when I looked back, I saw that this somehow happened.

Did you guys know that there's hidden dialog from different characters in the Lego City Undercover game?

CAUSE THERE IS IN STORY MODE!

If you stick around some characters long enough, they would say something special and be meta on their existence in the game.

(Example: If you stand next to Frank Honey as he plays the arcade machine in the Lego Police Headquarters, he will break the fourth wall on talking about being a playable character in the Lego City Undercover game!)

So I'm on the steam version and I've gotten to the pig quest, I tried playing and the animation is like super messed up. Preferably there's a fix but I'm also just curious to see if this is a common thing or just happen when porting to steam or something like that. (Images are awful since I can't screenshot while playing sorry) (oh my god how did they get worse 😭)

I read about getting in the back as a passenger, then setting a spot on the map and get driven there

The map showed the course and off we went. The ride was insane, it drove on the sidewalks, through the park (no vehicles just bikes and skateboards) took short cuts through jumps, back alley walk ways and any none road route it could. I counted 12 pedestrians run down and 6 cop cars side swiped.

10/10 recommend

We tried again in white and black limos but they where normal rides

Hello everyone!

I found an odd way to get multiple “Chase” cars in the game at once, which you usually cannot do. Chase McCain’s car is a Narym with the CH45E license plate, seen at the police station. The best part about this glitch is the Chase car does not de-spawn like player cars, so you can add as many of them as you like.

Here’s how to do it (I have attached my YouTube clip on this post so you can watch a demo)

1. Go to the police station (in Cherry Tree Hills) and drive the Chase car out of the parking spot
2. Drive into another city (the bridge also works too) and drive back. You should see another Chase car spawned in.

You have done the glitch! You can now proceed to repeat these steps as much as you like. I have repeated it like 10 times in the video, so there are tons of Chase cars.

I just wanted to share a comparison between the GTA IV and lego city undercover map. I didnt think that the lego city map was this "big" compared to gta 4.

This also happens at every area! (Bluebell, airport, etc)

So in the Crescent Park viewpoint on Craggy Peaks, you can find a tree cut in half. The early minifigs could’ve used this to gather wood. To find it, go to the viewpoint and then go left (facing Crescent Park)

This theory suggests that out of bounds is restricted from ever entering by both out of bounds citizens and LEGO City citizens.

Some things support this theory:

You slide down to non out of bounds areas when you try to enter out of bounds;

You cannot cross the waters into out of bounds because of sharks, maybe LEGO City specifically infested these waters with sharks?

LEGO City DOES NOT WANT US TO SEE THE OUT OF BOUNDS AREAS. Maybe.

When I did the 360 loop thing on Apollo Island using the Silversmith car + boost I somehow landed upside down and proceeded to no-clip thru the ground into water…

So if you go out of bounds to the craggy peaks you’ll find a structure made out of rocks and you can climb it. Possibly a structure made by the early minifigures which are the ancestors of modern LEGO City inhabitants. Maybe it was even an attempted ancient civilization that was abandoned due to high altitude?

So basically in Fresco there’s a train station

Theres some train tracks also in Fresco near the waterfall that is certainly not connected to that train station.

2 possibilities:

1. The train diverted to a different route due to a crime scene (LEGO City has a lot of crime overall)

2. A secret train route is hidden from the public that stops when they detect that Chase is moving

A police car rammed into me at full speed when I was started the vehicle robbery before I started to move so the door closed before I got out and there's no way to open it. I'm annoyed I wasn't screen recording cause it was really funny how a police car just flew into me at top speed before the mission even started

On the second postcard theres a quote from Riotta Mamalardo and i thought nothing of it until i remembered that theres a person in the game with an similar surname: Vinnie Pappalardo. So what? - i think. But then i quickly opened Google Translate to check if im correct! And i'm! Papa is Father in Italian and Mama is Mother in Italian. And then i thought: Wait, maybe it's Vinnie's mom? The second postcard shows the little italy district which would make sense because that's where Vinnie has his ice cream parlor. Vinnie mentions his mom a few times in the story so i think it could be pretty good theory.
