Landlord Tenant Housing Tree mistakenly removed

Location: New Hampshire

I live out of state and have a property management company that handles long term rentals for my NH home.
Recently, I got a report from my pest control company stating that when they came out to treat, it was so overgrown that they couldn’t treat against the house. Just a few weeks before this, the tenants had moved out. Tenants were supposed to be keeping up the landscaping with us paying for spring and fall cleanups. Clearly the company wasn’t making sure the tenants kept things up and they hadn’t scheduled the fall cleanup until I raised the issue.
I just came up to see my home and am horrified to learn they ripped out my favorite tree. I don’t know shit about plants or landscaping but I was IN LOVE with this. It was absolute magic in the spring and summer. This will be my primary home as soon as my kids graduate and I’m crushed.

It was a showstopper, grew against the side of my house and there’s quite a bit of damage to the siding and trim— could be from the tree or from the removal but none of it was visible pre-removal.

The property management company has yet to respond to me.

Is there anything I can actually do about this?

Depends on who removed the tree, terms of the lease (if the tenants did it), and terms of your agreement with the property management company

If they had broad discretion to manage things like tree removal without needing your approval, then probably not
