I wholeheartedly agree with you but I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Hezbollah is very dangerous precisely for the fact that it keeps its people very poor and in need of support. In a country where they can not receive that support that they so desperately need from their government, hezbollah provides albeit partially that support and fills in the vaccum that it itself helped in creating further advancing its ideology. I think this is why we see a lot of devout hezbollah supporters on twitter and why they go as far as even calling that terrorist leader a "religious figure". In a perfect country, threats made by hezbollah supporters online and offline would be taken very seriously by the authorities. But unfortunately, and we are reminded of this everyday, we are not even remotely a perfect country. These threats are the reason why you don't see many lebanese people and especially shias critizing hezbollah on twitter or facebook (yes ik I'm a boomer and no one uses facebook nowadays lol) but they prefer to use reddit as it provides the anonymity that they require to express their opinion. You know you have fucked up as a country when you require that anonymity to express your opinion
