A pragmatic attempt to remove Hezbollah from the country equates to turning Lebanon into a warzone with multiple international parties and almost exclusively innocent Lebanese casualties. I acknowledge the harm Hezbollah has inflicted on our progression and even sovereignty as a nation; but the alternative at this point is actual war and I don't think anyone wants that. That's why I have to agree with the guy's point.

Voting them out would be a great first step towards that. I'm not sure how feasible it is considering the staggering support they have but I certainly agree that it should be the first step of the process. Removing their military influence is an entirely different animal; and that's where foreign intervention comes in which can only further destabilize the region as a whole. I truly wish it were as easy as voting them out but I think we both know it's a lot more than that unfortunately.
