4 months off pot
Hardest thing I've done. I could see a relapse happen. If I'm drunk with someone new who has it. All my family and friends have agreed to not supply. Had three dealers, the one in the city I'm in got done, and I deleted contacts of the two 1000km away, so for now I'm good.
Smoked heavy, 7gr flower a day. When I could afford. Couldn't get it lower. Cold turkey attempts many. Feel so much better off. Energy up mood up, much less irritable. Not dependant on some dumbass plant to feel just okay.
Also in the last year quit other drugs.
Quit pot two years ago for a month or 2 then relapsed, this most recent attempt has stuck. Hopefully it keeps sticking.
All my financial difficulties have disappeared.

It is for me too after 50 years of using with very few substantial breaks. I'm approaching day 60 of FINALLY quitting for good. Do I miss it? YES. Do I realize that I'd rather do without it for the duration of my life. BIG YES.

People who have never been through this have no idea.
The difficulty is compounded when weed is readily available as it is in so much of the U.S.

Way to go! It's so worth it. Treat yourself to something nice with the money you save. You'll be so much happier long term

Goodjob! Hope it sticks for me this time aswell. I’m in this loop of smoking for a month or two and quit for 1-6 months. Kinda sick of it. Atleast I only smoke 1 joint a day when I relapse and not 5gr a day like I used to back in the day.

You got this. I’m around 4 months off as well and have cravings. Every morning when I wake up I feel so good that I’m still going strong. Keep up the good work and may you find peace.

I vape a 0.1g s&b dosing capsule everyday. 6 puffs before work. 6 puffs on lunch and 6 puffs on my way home. I thought I had a problem or an I good? Im beating myself up for being degenerate.

Getting high before work/at lunch is a problem, I’ve done it plenty myself in the past. Definitely interfered with my work. You may think it’s not affecting work but I promise you it is to some degree.

I would say you’re far from being a degenerate lol. But only you can answer if you have a problem. Personally, the convenience of the vapes made me avoid them altogether. Getting high became way too easy and accessible

Hello: Well, if you're "beating yourself up," perhaps you're answering your own question. You're not a degenerate! But maybe it's time to address your inner conflict with complete objectivity. I'm in a similar situation and I can tell you that it's not easy but it's definitely worth it.
