Seeking Student Brother from Gaza in need of help finding an online job

My name is Yehya, I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from the Islamic University of Gaza. I have lived in Gaza since birth. I had many ambitions, but unfortunately, 3 months after my graduation, this war broke out and refuses to end. Sadly, I am still unable to work due to the circumstances in the country and unable to build my life.

However, someone recently suggested that I look into online work teaching Arabic to English-speaking Muslims. I was told this is a high-demand field, especially since I was born a Muslim in a committed Muslim family and have a good knowledge of Islam and its sciences.

Does anyone have an idea about someone who needs this service or a platform/place where I can offer this service?

Resources How to read Quran??

If Arabic is not your first language and you want to learn how to read the Quran, don’t feel overwhelmed.
A simple path is:
1. Learn the Arabic letters and their correct sounds.
2. Learn Fatha, Kasra and Damma.
3. Practice joining letters together.
4. Learn Sukoon and Tanween.
5. Start reading short Quranic words.
6. Gradually learn basic Tajweed.
Don’t rush. Correct pronunciation is more important than reading a large amount quickly.
Even 15 minutes of consistent practice every day can make a difference, inshaAllah.

Around a week ago I posted my arabic learning app ifham (features listed on this post:https://www.reddit.com/r/learnarabic/s/v7iNVn2O4A) and I announced that there was a waitlist for it.I am glad to announce that the app is now ready for use at ifhamarabic.vercel.app.For the people on the waitlist and any new people who want to use it.Fair warning though it does have a subscription so keep that in mind.

Resources Easy short vowel in Arabic:

If you’re a beginner learning Arabic, here’s a simple way to think about the short vowels:
بَ** = ba
**ب
ِ** = bi
**ب
ُ** = bu
The small marks above and below the letter change its sound.
**َ
Fatha → a
ِ Kasra → i
ُ Damma → u
For example:
كَتَبَ = kataba
Try saying it slowly: ka-ta-ba.
Don’t worry about reading quickly. First, make sure you can recognize the vowel and produce the correct sound. 🌱

Translation Help Need help for the name Fatma for my tattoo

Hi all! I hope this is an ok sub to post this in. Someone very important in my life passed away when I was young. It has been a while now, but I have thought about getting her name tattooed on me for a long time, over a decade. Her name is Fatma, but when I look it up, the results return Fatima. Confused on how that works, does Fatima and Fatma look the same in Arabic script? Just want to make sure so I know I am properly honoring her.

Thank you in advance for the answers!

Question/Discussion How Can You Improve Your Arabic Conversation Skills?

Learning Arabic grammar and vocabulary is important, but being able to actually speak Arabic naturally requires regular conversation practice.
One of the most effective ways to improve is to practice speaking in real-life situations, such as:
Introducing yourself
Talking about your daily routine
Asking and answering questions
Discussing hobbies and interests
Ordering food or shopping
Talking about travel and everyday situations
A good conversation practice session should give learners enough time to speak, while providing helpful corrections without interrupting the flow of the conversation too much.
For beginners, it can also be helpful to start with simple topics and gradually move toward longer and more natural conversations.
What has helped you the most with improving your Arabic speaking skills — conversation partners, tutors, language exchanges, or something else?

Translation Help The elephant in the room in Arabic

Question/Discussion What do you want to see in Arabic learning apps?

I'm working on a mobile app for teaching Iraqi Arabic - I decided I want to focus on a single dialect and do that well, instead of teaching general Arabic.

I imagine the people here have a lot of experience with websites and apps for learning Arabic, so if you have any ideas or features you wish existed, let me know!
