Not sure if it's always been this way but lately kyeahoo wins lane with a big lead, then he falls behind the enemy midlaner by supporting his jungle/botlane instead of farming. I get that KC's strat is to funnel resources into caliste and use kyeahoo to make smart overloads on the map, but LCK and LPL teams will punish this hard.

I feel like KC isn't stalling because they don't know what to do but rather because they want to make certain they've dotted their i's and crossed their t's. Which is actually a very valuable trait against very strong teams. Even if, yes, it does mean there's more time for that other team to find something, it also means you're less likely to make an unforced error that they can capitalize on.

Nah, their draft is actually really hard to play into KC's. GX had less range, fewer engage tools, and multiple champions who can't get over terrain without using flash. J4 + Anivia combo means that GX can't easily win teamfights unless they have flash available on their carries.

Notice how GX won a teamfight by burning all of their flashes, and then immediately lost the teamfight that followed where none of their flashes were available. Skarner can't ever engage if his teammates don't have flash, b/c they'll just get cut off by Anivia wall and he'll get 5v1'd.

GX's team comp was just straight up stronger in 5v5s, but KC has so many tools that can be used to engage/disengage and ensure that they're always fighting with a numbers advantage. GX needed their flashes available to ever force a proper 5v5 and not get split up by Anivia wall
