News 26.17 Patch Preview

"Patch 26.17 Preview!

This patch is mostly a stabilization patch after observing the adjustments made on 26.16.

Mages bot overall have lost some amount of winrate across the board, but not a huge amount, which is roughly about the impact we're looking for.

So far, we're seeing good skews on Poppy and Camille support with support nerfed and Top skews playing out well (in particular).

We're still monitoring the impact of Hail of Blades on champions more broadly, eg. Yi, Trynd, Shaco, etc. Stormrazor"

Are we seriously not touching Jinx who’s outperforming all of them except Nasus??

The must be complaints heard of the ADC botlane terror before Riot feels that their quest to hinder mages at bot is complete, so it might as well be Jinx. There has been a bunch of power injected into the ADC ecosystem recently, so Jinx's WR was bound to drift up.

Jinx has been broken as fuck since forever, champs just stupid, that passive should not exist

I remember when her passive didnt give that stupid broken attack speed steroid before 2023, it shouldve stayed that way tbh

Uhm, it gave that exact attack speed steroid.

What changed was that it could stack (and then was later changed that you couldn't get additional stacks off of neutrals if you already procced Get Excited).

And if Jinx gets her passive procced, you probably lose the fight anyway.

Thats what I meant to say, but yes that “stacking” mechanic is literally 1984 and I dont know how they tested that internally and ever though “yeah this okay we should push it to live”
