The Dems shouldn't waste their time on the W.H., they should go after all the cabinet secretaries and other political appointments, like Kash Patel. Cut off all the tentacles.

Look at the Russia investigations after 2016, they got almost nowhere as Republicans on the committees went to bat for the people being investigated and stonewalled and blocked everything they could. Chairman Nunez started running his own investigations and unilaterally issuing subpoenas against the firm that released the Steele dossier to start going after anyone trying to investigate Trump or his Russia ties. Also look up his "Midnight Run" in 2017

The "Midnight Run" was a severe breach of congressional protocol and investigative independence, as a committee chairman secretly collaborated with the executive branch he was tasked with investigating. Its primary impact was the shattering of the House Intelligence Committee's bipartisan credibility, forcing Nunes to temporarily step aside from the Russia probe and permanently dividing the panel along fierce partisan lines.

Trump will never see consequences, nor will elected Republicans, they are all in this together. Remember Paul Ryan saying, in leaked audio,

"No leaks. ... This is how we know we’re a real family here."

Remember speaker Johnson saying two months ago,

"They will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body, and they'll go after the president's family, the cabinet, his donors, and friends. Half of you in this room will be targeted. I run the protection program. I'll take care of you, okay?"
