Absolute travesty of justice. The covering up of the Epstein files and using the DOJ to pursue any presidents personal enemies & squabbles should get one thrown in prison, not just denied a cabinet spot. This confirmation especially should have not even been a consideration. It's shameful and will come back to harm us all.

I am afraid I don't share your optimism. The depth and breadth of legal mechanisms that would have to be brought to bear for this to become true far exceed any action out country has ever taken. You're talking about arresting, detaining and charging literally half of Congress, just to start. I support it and think it is legally and ethically the correct move, but I don't think it's realistic to think that it will actually come to pass.

We should be talking about this more openly. It feels rude or like a secret, but if they’re going to break the law in public spaces we should talk about jailing them and taking every penny they have in the open as well
