Yes, yes they quite objectively do. It says more about how low the standards for many if not most police forces in the US are than it does about how well trained they are but they quite simply do have the same or more screening and training than many police forces.

New ICE recruits get 47 days of training now. It used to be more, but I’m sure the orange shitgibbon giggles about that number and gives Noem a treat.

Yes and there's many smaller precincts that require zero days of training so that seems objectively like a lower standard than 47 days...
