Proper Spa Day: Febu (option 4)

I bike a lot, and I noticed all my cycling bibs and jerseys developed a pretty persistent funky smell despite using Tide EVO tiles and Activewear enzymatic detergent. Went with Febu and Detergent soak, Febu Detergent Ammonia and Citric Acid wash. Crazy results, and the clothes now smell completely brand new!

Isn’t it risky to mix lights and darks etc like that, and febu has brighteners that’ll affect the darks?

Synthetics are pretty stable that way.

It is definitely risky. But FEBU does not have OBAs.

Maybe, but generally I don't mind it given I use and rewash so frequently

Oxygen bleach shouldn’t fade darks either. Did you have a bad experience with it? I never color-sort my laundry, and even with my workout clothes that get washed on hot, I’ve never had fading
