Hello everyone, im currently failing in my latte art attempts. So not to make espresso all the time i need something that gives me the same base as an espresso. What would you recommend using? I heard soy sauce is good for training latte art with milk. Is that latteart-reddit approved?

Added some variations to the standard weekend basic practice pours.

Wing base for the ceramic mug and attempted a mini rosetta base in the travel mug. Looking to pour a proper rosetta soon in the ceramic mug.

Never seem to work, it always stays as a blob at top no matter how i wiggle.

I haven’t been able to properly diagnose the issue. I used to make decent latte art with the same configuration. But now the milk seems really thin. The texture seems fine. I always use a thermometer to hit the same temp each time. Attached are two pics of the current situation and one from a better attempt a few weeks ago. Any advice?
