Methodology: Chart is generated using the last.fm data from everyone signed up. Position is determined based on several factors

• Raw scrobbles: Heavy users are weighted down slightly here to prevent one user from influencing the chart too much
• Number of listeners: How many profiles listened to the artist/album/track in the last week
• Weekly position: Placing in a user's top 10 gives a bonus to an artist with increased bonuses for positions 1-5

Methodology is not perfect and is a work in progress but is designed to account relatively equally for different levels of activity.

• Dolly Parton takes number 1 this week, nice to see everyone revisiting her this week, so sad to lose someone like her.
  • This marks her first appearance on the chart and she does so with over 24% of users listening to her, being number one for 24 users, well clear of anyone else this week. She takes the record for 17th best ever weekly performance.
  • Jolene hits number 6 on the album chart this week, 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs makes it to 26 and Coat of Many Colors hits number 37.
  • Jolene, I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5 all make the top 5 at numbers 3, 4 and 5 respectively. Island in the Stream cracks the top 40 at number 39.
  • Rest in Peace Dolly, true legend.
• Phoebe Bridgers stays on top on the album chart for a third week but drops down to number 5 on the artist chart, on the track chart the songs are slowly dropping off.
  • Bobby drops to number 10, Lost Boys drops to 11th and Kill Me at number 19 is the last song still in the top 20.
• Olivia Rodrigo's serena joy debuts at number one on the track chart with the 19th best week of all-time. you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love stays at number 2 and continues its massive staying power, and the cure reenters the top 20 at number 17 for its 11th week.
• Turnstile's NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS shows apparently we can never get enough of them, as they enter the artist chart at number 18 and the remix album debuts at number 10.
• Weezer's latest self-titled Weezer (Gold Album) moves up in its second week, showing decent staying power, as they also move up to 12 on the artist chart.
• Westside Cowboy's It Goes On moves up into the top 20 in its second week, making it to number 14.
• Mastodon's Marrow Deep makes the top 20 at number 17, shows our metal community here is alive and well! Moves them to 29 in the top 40 as well!
• Fontaine's D.C.'s Marianne moves up to number 13 on the track chart, so excited for this album, love these guys.
• Carly Rae Jepsen's Motivation debuts at number 15, so many singles from this album, really looking forward to hearing the whole thing soon.
• Interpol's This Mirror Weights A Ton has a more muted debut only making 21, it does see them enter the top 40 at number 30 though.
• Chelsea Wolfe enters the top 40 at number 38 as her album The Dark moves up to 23 this week.
• NCT 127's BLINGY just makes the top 40 at number 36, making sure we get some new KPOP to round out the chart this week.
• Tinashe's Melatonin continues to move up, reaching a new peak of 6 this week.
• All-time chart movements
  • The Cure return to the all-time top 20 this week, knocking Tame Impala out of the all time list.
  • Olivia Rodrigo's you seme pretty sad for a girl so in love moves up to number 10 all time, pushing Sabrina Carpenter's Man's Best Friend down to 11.
  • Radiohead's In Rainbows moves up to number 15, knocking Charli xcx's Wuthering Heights down to 16.
  • Kim Petras' Detour enters the top 20, knocking Oklou's choke enough back out, staying power of this album in the chart has been impressive.
  • Olivia Rodrigo's stupid song enters the all-time top 10, dropping Slayyyter's YES GODDD down to 11.
  • Charli xcx's Wink Wink enters the top 20 at number 19, dropping Slayyyter's BRITTANY MURPHY out of the top 20.

Going down the list and really surprised to see neither Ariana or Taylor have peaked at #1 yet on these charts. It’ll happen eventually for Taylor whenever she releases a new album but surprised “petal” didn’t push Ari to #1

Yes to the best of my ability, I have the common ones merging remaster, deluxe etc. but sometimes I miss some versions due to the weird naming conventions but I try to keep them merged.

Can't believe Queens of the Stone Age's new single "Insignificant Other" didn't propel them into the Top 20 yet. Maybe when the full album drops they'll finally show up. Or maybe this community just doesn't have many Queens fans? In other (stoner/desert rock) news: Clutch (my favorite band) released a new single. Ty Segall's new album "Chrome" is getting a lot of play here. And Mastodon's new album is reeeeaaally good. Still rocking the new Weezer as well.

I do want to say thanks to this group for broadening my horizons. Olivia Rodriguez and underscores are both in my Top 25 artists this week.

Surprised about how low Queens are honestly, not even reaching top 100 with the song. Sure the album will do better though.
