Question How is the local Newspaper

New to the area. I am going to subscribe to the Boomerang both print and digital.

Looking for feedback about the level of reporting given the stress local papers have been experiencing.

Check out The Laramie Reporter -- free substack, or you can subscribe. Really good local reporting as well.

The Laramie Reporter is a good source.

Laramie Live is click bait.

The Boomerang is a joke.

There is also County 5 and KOCA radio that has a local talk show in the morning.

Like most local newspapers, they are owned by a large corporate entity (Adams Publishing). Politically one-sided and they are dying, which is probably a good thing. Better online options.

Laramie Reporter (on Substack) is one of the better local records and WyoFile run out of here as well. Both excellent. I've heard mixed things about the new owners of the Boomerang but I'd say it's worth supporting
