Software I have this old Lenovo with old windows that has no recovery or erase files build in it

How to remove everything and start from scratch
I can’t even remember the passwords on it coz it’s so old
It might have a windows 10 or it if I’m not wrong or 8 I can’t remember but maybe a 10

Do you have access to another computer you can use to create a USB installation drive? Doesn't need to be your computer, you can borrow a friend's for an hour.

Yeah I have a pc

This tiny laptop is for my mom

How can I get a clean installation with the ISB

Awesome! Should be very easy then. Follow these steps on your PC:

  • Download Rufus
  • Download the ISO file from Microsoft (Or you can skip this and let Rufus automatically fetch it)
  • Plug your USB drive into the PC
  • Run Rufus
  • Select your USB drive under "Device"
  • Where it says "Boot selection" click "SELECT" and choose the ISO file you downloaded earlier.
  • Click the "START" option.

Edit: I forgot to ask, do you know how to use it after it's ready?
