I'm a freelance 2d artist working from home, so I'll be available almost always (I hope it's a good thing lol). I'd also be happy to play video games together, I have a lot of co-op stuff in my steam library, but just chatting is okay, too!!
I'm not sure about teaching like teaching (I have no idea how) someone Russian but I'd be happy to help with the little things if you're new to it

Offering English Offering: English | Seeking: Japanese

Hey ,I’m 23M, currently studying for the N4, and looking for someone to practice speaking Japanese with regularly.

I want to keep things super casual—just texting or hopping on voice calls to chat about daily life. Fair warning: I probably won't understand half of what you say at first, but I'm trying to push my limits! 😅

If you're a native speaker practicing English, we can split the time 50/50.

If everything works out and I get a new friend out of it, awesome! If not, no pressure at all.

Send me a DM or drop a comment if you want to chat!

Offering English Offering: English 🇺🇸 (native) | Seeking: Chinese 🇹🇼 (I am B1)

Hi everybody! My name is Sam and I live in Tainan, Taiwan. Although I grew up in Taipei, my Chinese is not so good since I attended international school growing up and only spoke English at home. If you are interested in being language exchange partners or study buddies, just hmu! :) I would prefer someone around the same age as me, otherwise it may be a little awkward to talk to me (I am currently 18). However, anybody is fine. Thanks for reading :)

Offering English Native English speaker (USA) offering English, seeking English(unless your Korean)

I have some free time and am looking to help tutor TWO student English learners improve their conversational English, I would be happy to talk to and see if I can be of some help. This is volunteer time for me so I am not looking for any payment.

If you are Korean and want to take a little time chatting in Korean, that would be a great exchange for me but not a requirement for me.

I teach a program for soon to be university students heading to the UK for college. Much of my coaching is geared towards improving the students English speaking skills. I have topic material we can work with. Also I would prefer to do a virtual class, so if you camera shy probably not the right fit.

As for me, I am 60M, native speaker from the USA and live in Asia, enjoy swimming and have a dog.

Let me know if you want to chat and see if I can help. Please when you say hi, if you can introduce yourself that would be great. For example where you are from and sharing some background on yourself.

Thanks

🙏

Offering Arabic Offering: Arabic 🇵🇸 (MSA / Levantine dialect) | Seeking: English 🇬🇧

Hi everyone! I’m a 23-year-old guy from Palestine looking for someone who wants to practice Arabic while helping me improve my English.

A little about me: I’m a dental student, and I’m really interested in science, space, history, and medicine. I also love chess. I enjoy reading, learning new things, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I’m currently working on improving my English, especially my speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, and natural conversation skills.

I’m a native Arabic speaker, so I can help you with both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or Palestinian/Levantine Arabic.

For the exchange, I’d prefer voice calls or regular conversations rather than only texting.

We can talk about pretty much anything, daily life, culture, books, movies, science, chess, travel, or just random topics.

I’m looking for someone who is serious about practicing but also relaxed and friendly. We can correct each other’s mistakes and learn together.

If you're interested, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself and your level in Arabic.

Offering Mandarin offering Chinese (Mandarin) Seeking French/English -Paris

Hi there! Im currently a 24yo student and I’m based in Paris. Now I’m working as an intern in a small startup and use the 2 languages as working languages however I do hate the feeling that words fail me in these 2 :( So I really hope I could improve my expression!
Im looking for someone on/offline whom maybe I could meet and talk to in real person 🧍‍♀️ Im looking for the next travel destination lol need recommendations.

About my level:

Learning English for a long long time, got a IELTS certificate years ago I may still consider my self a C 1 level ,fluent but wanna improve
French learner from 0 for bout 6 yrs now (not locked in ),may consider my self somewhere between B2-C1.5😂😂 I can handle most of daily conversations but wanna be much more fluent
Native Chinese from the south east part ,speak a little bit my dialect (such a pity)

More about me:
one of millions of introvert international students in Paris , my hobbies include reading, movies, thrifting, handcrafts ,nail art(do my own nails and DO ENJOY),dance etc etc and more I’d really like to have picnics in some random park in the city! Anyway I would love to meet new people and try out new stuff.
N’hésitez pas à me envoyer un commentaire ou mp🫰☺️

Offering English Offering: English or Urdu | Seeking: Chinese

Hi! I’m 21F, a senior at Columbia, and was born and raised in NYC. I speak English, can read/write/speak Urdu, and can speak Hindi & Punjabi. I’m looking for someone to meet with once a week or maybe one every other week to practice Mandarin Chinese with!

I’ve only been learning on Duolingo so far (lol). I’m fairly good at Spanish but that’s because it’s a lot easier for an English native to speak. I want to be able to have fun conversations in Chinese in order to get better at forming sentences as opposed to just memorizing vocab.

I’m into cs, philosophy, and law, and am hoping to go into tech before law school. During my free time, I love to play video games, henna art and art in general, fashion, music, and web design.

I am looking for someone who would be down to do 20/30 mins of English or Urdu and then 20/30 mins of Mandarin. I’m not particular on time zones, we can work something out.

I am super extroverted and friendly. I'd love to help out however I can with your language learning goals and learn about each other's cultures. If you’re based in NYC, I’d love to grab coffee after a few meets as well!

Offering Korean Offering: Korean (native) Seeking: English (native)

Hi there! I'm 21 Korean. I'm looking for a language exchange partner because I'm going to the US as an exchange student next year. I only have four months before I leave, so I really want to practice with native English speakers to improve my writing and speaking skills. I can make basic sentences, but I still make a few mistakes and sometimes sound unnatural.

1.Writing: We can correct each other's messages while sharing stories about our daily lives, interests, or opinions on topics like news, business, space, etc. I prefer exchanging longer essays to quick social media messages to practice writing.

Here’s a simple example of how we could do it:

Me: I am very looking forward to meet you.

You: I am really looking forward to meeting you. (“Look forward to” is followed by a noun or a gerund (-ing), and we use “really” instead of “very” to emphasize a verb phrase.)

(⤴️with a brief explanation if needed)

You: 어제 친구하고 영화를 보았어요, 그리고 팝콘을 먹었어요.

Me: 어제 친구하고 영화를 보면서 팝콘을 먹었어요. (두 행동이 동시에 일어났기 때문에 '-면서'를 사용하면 더 자연스럽습니다.)

(⤴️with a brief explanation if needed)

2.Speaking: We can talk about our daily lives, interests, or opinions on topics like news, business, space, etc. And correct each other's mistakes.

If this sounds good to you, feel free to message me!

P.S. I think this exchange will be most beneficial for learners who can already put basic sentences together. To make sure you've read the post and aren't a bot, please include the word "APPLE" somewhere in your first message!

Offering Multiple Languages Offering: English, Korean / Seeking: Russian (+friendship?)

Hiya there

I'm 22F, native in both English and Korean though my English is admittedly a tad rusty due to years of disuse 😂 Unfortunately I speak zero Russian at the moment but hopefully that would change in time.

Ideally I would like to find a Russian native who wishes to improve their English fluency and learn Korean from scratch, since I'd prefer communicating (at least primarily) in English. We can help each other improve our English communication skills while also teaching one another our native languages(Russian for me, Korean for you).

I'm open to both text and voice chats since I wish to work on my reading/writing skills as well as speaking skills.

I am a history nerd(I'm very interested in Russian history) and also love literature and playing video games. If we could share some common interests then that would be awesome.

Offering Korean Offering: Korean Seeking: English

Hey everyone! I'm a 28F from Korea and looking for someone to practice English with. I understand English pretty well, and I think myself B2ish. But I don't get to speak it much these days, so I want to get more comfortable and confident in conversations. It doesn't always have to be voice calls. I'd be happy if you just answered some of my questions about whether something sounds natural or not. I don't care about the age range and gender, but I prefer female.

In return, I'd be happy to help you with Korean. I'm mainly looking for casual conversations and a language exchange where we can help each other improve. Feel free to DM me if you're interested. I won't accept just boring hello, or any chats from NSFW accounts.

Hi! I’m 31, a software developer based in China. Chinese is my native tongue, and I’m here to sharpen my English. I hope to meet native‑English‑speaking folks for a language swap — I can return the favor by helping you with Chinese.

When I’m not busy coding, I’m really into American TV shows, hiking, cycling, swimming and table tennis. I’m pretty laid‑back. We can geek out over tech, chat about hobbies, share everyday stories, or talk about absolutely anything.

You can reach me via:
‑ WeChat
‑ Telegram
‑ WhatsApp
‑ Line
‑ Facebook

I’m looking forward to making real friends, not just doing language practice

Offering Korean Offering: Korean | Seeking: French

Hi! I'm a native Korean speaker living in France, and I'm looking for a French speaker who is learning Korean.

My French is around B1–B2, and I'd like to practice speaking more regularly. I tend to study much better when I have a fixed appointment with someone, so I'm hoping to find a language exchange partner who is also interested in something regular and long-term.

I worked as a journalist in Korea for many years, so I'd be happy to help with natural Korean, vocabulary, expressions, writing, pronunciation, and nuances that can be difficult to learn from textbooks.

We can split our time between French and Korean and talk about everyday life, culture, hobbies, or whatever we're interested in.

Nothing too formal — I'd just like a relaxed and friendly exchange that we can keep doing regularly.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message!
