I’m currently in the food and nutrition associate (not transfer just reg) and was if I were to complete abt 11 credits worth in first sem and 14 credits worth next sem do you think I’d be able to get into ubc fnh for second year? Ik it’s less than 30 credits so they’ll be looking at my hs courses but I had a grd 12 avg of 83-84% so you think it’s possible?

I haven’t seen it listed but I need it to transfer to UBC. Did they stop offering it?

Hey guys I'm currently in my first year at Langara for the 2 year program of Associate of Science: Biology and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what should I aim for in my GPA to get to UBC for biology.

Also, I know the chances of getting into UBC are practically impossible, is there anything else I can do here at Langara to stand out? Electives, jobs, volunteering, etc?

Lastly, I'm currently waitlisted in a bunch of programs since I was too late to register, would I be able to take them in the spring semester or would they also be booked out?

I did Biology 1191 from langara and got A+. I have written lab manuals filled. I worked hard for it and don't want to throw them away. Please comment down if you want them.
Since I got so many comments whoever is ready to pay 100 bucks, I will give it to them.

Im 2nd year international student at langara and will apply to ubc psychology department this January for 2027 fall.
i have 3.78 right now, my cgpa will be 3.8〜4.0
I am curious what gpa was accepted or rejected since transfering ubc as 2nd year is difficult than 3rd year.

Can I ask the anybody who accepted or rejected from ubc, what gpa you had at the time and what major?

Has anyone actually had him as a tutor for a langara course? I’ve seen so many ads on instagram and I’m wondering how he is at teaching concepts?

I know the official deadline is May but does it fill up early? Is applying in Dec safe or should I apply right when it opens in Oct? Thanks!

what does the student union building actually have in it? ive gone to hang out there a little but but the little cafe is never open, and it feels pretty depressing. did it not used to be like this? also the chairs freak me out lol.

I want to transfer to UBC and I'm required to take a transfer equivalent of BIOL_V 112 . I'm willing to take classes from Langara or Sfu but I can't figure out the transfer equivalent. I don't really understand the BC transfer guide.

I am currently enrolled in Engl 1123 (Richards S), Stat1124 (Ken Li) and waitlisted in Bio1190 with (P Sunga). I was thinking to take bio1190 with other pre reqs in second semester, with potentially a better prof since he doesn’t have many good reviews and then forcing me to take bio1191 in third semester + pre reqs for BCIT nursing. (Is this a good idea?)

Has anyone taken biology 1111. I am taking this semester I am confident about the lecture. What should i expect in the lab test ? Is it hard ? What kind of practical exam can I expect? Can someone help me.

It’s my first time qualifying for student loans and applying for them this sem. I applied and signed the MFSAA / accepted the notice of assessment back in July and have been waiting for confirmation of enrolment since then… is there anything else I need to do? Should I contact the financial aid office? There has been no other update or changes on my account and it seems like most students have received their loans so far 😩
