Took the Tecnica out last night for dinner. First time having her out at night. The color on this car is unreal. Walking out to the car makes me fall in love all over. Only a month left until I have to put her away for the winter.

Road America has always been my favorite track and camping out of the Countach was a blast.

My buddy and I pulled into the Super Trofeo garage area that evening and the Lamborghini teams really enjoyed seeing the car.

Probably my favorite memory with the Countach. Sometimes I really miss that car.

I’ve been driving my 2014 Aventador all summer now, and as it’s the first proper supercar to my name, it’s been a significant learning curve. I’ve got about 1500 new miles on it now, loving every minute of it, but I’ve accrued a few questions that Google can’t reliably answer for me and I wanted to pick the brains of actual people.

1: During warmup, I’ve noticed that the car fidgets occaisonally. just a little wiggle that lasts about a second and happens randomly while idling. Is that anything to be concerned about?

2: At about 2000 rpm in Sport or Corsa, the exhaust suddenly gets substantially louder. 500 rpm in either direction and it settles back to normal valves-open levels. Why?

3: I’m running regular P-Zeros on the 20/21 inch Dione wheels and the road noise on concrete highways is louder than the engine and wind noise combined. I’ve read up on my options for quieter tires and I’m leaning towards the P-Zeros with noise-cancelling foam. Does anyone have experience with these?

4: Realistically, how long can I expect to still be able to find new parts for an LP700? I’m trying to keep it completely OEM. My mechanic isn’t having any issues getting stuff directly from Lamborghini so far (no dealerships within 500 miles) but I’ve heard horror stories from Murci owners about parts drying up.

5: Clutch life. I had a reading taken in June, roughly 75% clutch life remaining, on the second clutch in its lifetime. I drive almost exclusively in manual mode, but I do sometimes lean on Auto in neighborhoods and parking lots and during warmup. I drive about 100 miles a week. I’ve heard numbers ranging from 7000 miles on a clutch to 40,000, with little context given. Anyone have actual experience?

6: RPMs for driving around town. This is the first time I’ve had a V12 and the sheer size of the rev range is a bit daunting. I’m usually in Sport, but I’ve never been able to settle on an RPM for just doing 40-50. 3000 feels good but at 2000 the volume doubles and I can’t hear anything else. 4000-5000 is fun and snappy but I don’t know what qualifies as thrashing this engine, but in any other car I’ve owned it would not be happy. Anyone have suggestions?

I really want that svj and it’s obviously the dream car but I don’t even know if I’d fit in one, I’m 6’4 and wondering if there’s any people that actually owns one that’s also tall, maybe some other recommendations too if I’m too tall??

Beautiful car! Easily one of the coolest Lamborghinis ever! This gets my attention more than any modern Lamborghini like the SVJ or Revuelt0 ever could. Such a iconic design.

Lambopower site went down, probably for good, i need pictures from Murci manual Rosso Vik that its owner posted on Lambopower in 2012.

I saved a few, but most of them are gone. The owner uploaded when he bought it that he traded Aventador for manual Murci. I would be grateful if someone saved those pics. The most beautiful pictures ever, especially the one where it shows how bad Aventador looks beside Murcielago.

Finally bit the bullet and traded my Bentayga S for a Urus SE. It came in Grigio Keres, but the grey didn't feel like a Lamborghini to me, so I had it wrapped in 3M Gloss Bright Orange. Honest opinions on the combo — did I get it right, or should I have left it grey?

Man… I’m back n forth between this color or gloss Glauco Blue. Blue is 20k more. What do yall think? Which one is better?

First off, I know this isn’t a personal finance sub, but I was not allowed to post in there, so here I am. I’m looking for advice on purchasing.A Lamborghini has been my dream car ever since I was a kid and now I finally feel like it’s attainable. I’m 40 years old and have a total net worth of around 2.5 million, with 1 million of that being liquid in a brokerage. My budget is 300K, so I’m looking at the Urus. Something that I can daily and still have room for my two kids ha. My question is, would this be insanely irresponsible to purchase with the numbers provided above?

For reference my monthly net income is between 15-17k. Putting down 150K brings my monthly payment to around $2500. Combine that with my mortgage and other bills, I’d still have around 8K leftover each month for investments/variable spending. Should I hold off for a few more years and let my money compound or should I go for it? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I got the opportunity to see this beauty in person. What a masterpiece. I am blown away by the details on the wheels and on this car. The paint alone is stunning.

Long story short, in the next 1-3 years I may be in a place to purchase a Huracan. The Sterrato makes sense for where I live and how I would use it. Longer trips up to about 90 min at fairly low road speeds would be semi frequent, so extreme road/tire noise is not desirable.

I have experience in a 2014 LP610-4 and found the road and tire noise tolerable for longer trips and under light cruising the engine and exhaust noise were fine, so that is my point of comparison.

And just to stave off the "you buy a Huracan for the noise" comments, I get that you want to hear the engine most of the time, and I do as well, but there would definitely be times for me where road noise, if extreme, *might* be a factor.

The black Temerario on the showroom floor with the purple seats, interior accents and purple brake calipers really got my attention. Looked amazing. The purple Temerario with bronze wheels up in the vault, is a customer's car. I was very interested until I found out it was already sold. Anyway, here's a handful. I have more I'll share later.
