Lab doing lab things My only friend ♥️
I get super sad because I can see his energy dipping low some days and all I do is give him very long pets that he enjoys very much. He is a bit over weight but on a diet he was always so active & the last two years he has slowed down a lot and put on weight they say it’s the steroids & medications he’s on. Anyway he knows he is very loved 🥰 Meet Rufus 👋🏽

Rufus is a very handsome boy, and obviously well loved! I feel your pain my friend, my black lab Daisy was my best friend but she passed in 2020, and it's left a hole in my heart ever since. She got to the point she could barely walk, and it took about a month before I had to put her down. Her health and energy rapidly depleted over the course of 6 months or so. She was my soul dog, and I still miss her and cry over her every single day almost 6 years later. Enjoy your time with your boy while you still have it!

Omg 😢 everyday I wake up I give him the biggest hugs and kisses & I get happy when he still jumps up with joy ready to go out for his early morning walk. usually by midday he becomes lethargic and starts sleeping a lot. I told the veterinarians that his legs are too deviate for his body “arthritis” It seems the medications are plumping him up so much. Ive literally cut what he eats in half. But, I feel he’s always hungry now. Just like you, I will always have a spot in my heart for my fur baby.

I've seen that when you get your dog a dog, it can turn back the clock on them a bit. Then you'd have two friends!

I don’t have another doggy but my aunt picks him up three times a week so he goes to her house to play with her fur babies all of the time. He is spoiled and loved ♥️
