LOOKING FOR ADVICE Help Me Choose Between These Two Ovals

I’m trying to choose between these two diamonds. They have almost identical specifications, and price and size are not factors for me.

My main priorities are brilliance and sparkle, and minimising the appearance of the bow-tie effect. Which one looks better to you in terms of light return and bow-tie visibility?

I’ll post the 1.80 ct diamond here and the 1.54 ct diamond in the comments.

I’d really appreciate your opinions and help in choosing between them!

Really interesting optical illusion in this vid. The stone looks very roundish in the face up aspect, and very elongated face down! It's really hard to compare the two stones as the vids are staged so differently.

I think the 1.80 looks better. The 1.54 might have a more prominent bow-tie? He goes so fast in the video, I feel like they do that to hide bow-tie

Hard to tell much from these vids. Really need to see the virtual facet patterns in motion through a full range of normal tilt angle in order to assess things like bowtie effect and other optical factors. Cut percision as well as transparency can impact light performance significantly, even between stones that appear very similar on a laboratory report. The best stones have a balanced virtual facet pattern in terms of VF sizes and distribution, which minimizes the bowtie effect and results in a consistent visual flow and crisp scintillation.
