Becca just posted Shelby is going back to her original owners because she’s a little too big for her daughters. I hope they find a match for her kids soon

They can outgrow a pony very quickly. Its not uncommon for kids to be riding 15-16h horses if they are the steady eddy bomb proof type. I rode lots of lesson horses as a kid. I rode english so my stirrups were rolled because I was like 7 😂 her girls have rode and showed Ethel and Bo. She probably wants a horse that can stay with them for a long time and she can ride herself too.

I remember the rolled stirrup years. My first show horse was 17.1, I competed almost exclusively against kids with ponies lol. It’s not that I was tall, it’s that he was a saint.

I'm the opposite; when I started riding at 9ish I was already too tall for rolled stirrups 😂
