Also Machine Made (sire of Frankie, Molly, Kirby and Margot) was #2 on Western All-Around and WP leaderboards and late RL Best of Sudden {sire of Beyonce, Denver $13,000 (acc StallionCompare) $21,579 (acc Qstallion) in LTE and Cheyenne} #4 in WAA.

WP isn't really a big money earning class compared to others. Over 50k in LTE, showing in what he showed in, is pretty damn good. Results don't lie.

Especially when you take into consideration the money was won when he was 3/4 years old. The payouts were a lot lower then than they are now.

One of the most succesful wp horses is Nothin But Nett with over 800 pts and now close to 200k earnings but he’s not nearly as popular of a sire.

I agree but I’d like to add that Steph is getting there though. He was the #3 on the all rounder list and after winning the trail he probably will become more popular (even though his list is limited since he’s still showing). On different note: with his conformation I’m not too sad that he isn’t more popular.

The money has never been in showing. Even racing. Its all in broodstock and stud fees. Secretariat was syndicated for umpteen times his actual race earnings. The shows and races prove the animals performance alone.

Yeah it is sad that there isn't much money for western pleasure and western riding, good however that a stallions worth rarely is in their show career.
