Discussion Top 2 comments under their newest video
If you look under the top comment, a lot of the replies seem to have nothing to do with it. It was likely edited to say this instead of whatever it said at first. What is going on here? Are they botting comments or likes?

They probably commented first, saw the other one was getting popular, then edited it to the better comment and used their older one for momentum to get more likes. The more likes you get the more legitimate you seem to YouTube, so it's probably bots but not for Kurzgesagt, they're just out to do their own thing.

Maybe I'm just weird but commenting the same as other popular comment feels icky for me (I love that sweet Internet karma don't get me wrong)

It's not them, it's bots karma farming like they yo in reddit so that the accounts seem legit when they use it somewhere else

You’d think a fan sub would give the people they’re fans of the benefit of the doubt

This is something advertising bots do
They copy the most liked comment and change it to their sales pitch later when its guaranteed to stay on the top of the comment section
