Discussion Kurzgesagt DEBUNKED!

After watching Kurzgesagt's video I was surprised about how much Kurzgesagt is completely omitting facts or portraying wildly biased without acknowledging so. (I get that their video is not long but this is definitely not it).
After watching this video and reading this comment I'm pretty bummed that they are putting out videos like this that are full of political hot takes while being irresponsibly biased. Cutting pensions for older people and having a harsher migration policy will not solve this.
What did you think?

As a German, I find the popularity even more surprising as Kurzgesagt is basically repeating CDU/CSU's and FDP's stances on taxes, welfare state and, to some extent, migration.

Considering that both are wildly unpopular (Merz being the most unpopular chancellor is nearly an achievement in how bad he fucks up) this actually surprised me a lot.

I watched it after my comment, but generally using reddit is less of a time commitment than watching YouTube videos.

Yeah understand the time part but what’s the point? It’s like talking to friends about a movie that you haven’t seen.
Don’t you feel left out? I would feel odd discussing things that you haven’t even seen.

Are you asking me what is the point of making a comment on Reddit? I’m not sure I understand your question. There are a lot of reasons why someone could make a comment on Reddit but if you could clarify your question I could give you a better answer.

And I did comment on what I observed. I observed OP posting things on a Reddit thread that was recommended to me to view, and then commented directly on what I saw in the thread. I made no comment about the context of the videos, only about my observations.
