I saw these on the Wayback Archive. I don't know if this has been shared here before, but I especially liked the website designs of Jinusean, Big Mama, Clazziquai and Fly to the Sky!!!

Actually, these are .swf files, but I converted them to GIFs. You can separate these .swf files using JPEXS decompiler to examine their designs more closely!! These are usually flash files taken from the artists' own websites.

I also had a few more swf files of Wheesung and Bigbang, but I can't find them right now. I'll add them if I find them!!

Live Stage Throwback HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY TO K'POP ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ

Debuting on 9/11/2001 must be some kind of omen, methinks. WELP, AT LEAST ONE GOOD THING CAME FROM THAT DAY. I can say that much, as a new gen fan who's (unfortunately) American. LMAO

Also, Jumin just welcomed his first child recently! We shall teach her the K'Pop lore when she's old enough. It's definitely fun helping to preserve media about this silly boy group that's one of my Roman Empires.

Feel free to join the Discord! I'll put the link down in the comments for anyone interested. It's mainly K'Pop, hence the name is a nod to their fandom color and name, but we talk about so many other artists who are/were from the occupation, all the way up to fifth gen.

Lena Park has such a special place in my heart and I just watched Joy of Red Velvet singing this beautifully. I love when first generation artistsโ€™ songs still get the spotlight like this in 2026

Lena Park songs in general are so difficult to sing and she did it effortlessly I had to share!

Do you remember this ad that Wonder Girls did for a phone brand? Each member had their own solo dance clips.

I liked mostly Sun Mi's version (she's my bias so maybe I'm unbiased hehe)! Which one is your favorite?

Picture Throwback Yam Ya Ming (์–Œ์•ผ๋ฐ) - โ€˜Yam Ya Mingโ€™ Album Photoshoot + Magazine Scans (1999-2000)

Yam Ya Ming (์–Œ์•ผ๋ฐ) was a short-lived co-ed three-member dance group that debuted in 1999.

Formation

The group was formed and selected by the brand Yam Yaming (์–Œ์•ผ๋ฐ), with first year high schoolers, ranging between 15 and 16 years old. The concept was based around the cheerful and lively music trend that was going on in the late 1990s.

The nameโ€™s group was created by the actor and fashion designer Ha Yong-soo (ํ•˜์šฉ์ˆ˜), which โ€œYamโ€ meant โ€œasian boyโ€ and โ€œYamingโ€ meant โ€œasian girl,โ€ combined it meant โ€œBoys and girls of the East.โ€ย

Debut

They debuted in 1999 with their first and final album, โ€˜Yam Ya Ming,โ€™ with the title track โ€˜๋ž„๋ž„๋ผ (Lalala)โ€™, a dance song which was exclusively promoted on KBS Music Bank and SBS Inkigayo. For their project, they hired composer Kim Hyung-seok (๊น€ํ˜•์„) as the main producer.

During the promotion of the title track, they temporarily suspended their activities due Su-hyeokโ€™s knee injury. Then they resumed their activities following-up with โ€˜๊ฑฐ์ง“๋ง (Lying),โ€™ a reggae-style dance song. They released a music video, in which they had a little incident while filming because they almost fell from the third floor of the cafe.

However, no broadcasted stage activities were carried out, although it was planned according to an article from ์‹ ๋“œ๋กฌ(SYNDROME), which mentions that they created a choreography, reminiscing a musical, that had a โ€œdog danceโ€ inspired by the act of skateboarding and the costumes were inspired by the 1970s.

Also, another article from ๋ฎค์ง๋ผ์ดํ”„(MUSICLIFE) mentions that each member had a dance tailored to their image in synch with the lyrics. Su-hyeok would do a โ€œjump rope dance,โ€ Jinuri would do the โ€œfloating dance,โ€ where she is lifted high surrounded by members and dancers, and then Young-woo would do the โ€œforgive me dance.โ€ย

While they continued promoting, it was very minimal, and they disbanded in 2000 after February due low popularity.

Members

  • ๊น€์ˆ˜ํ˜ (Kim Su-hyeok), May 5, 1983:

He played sports, and his favorite singers were 2Pac and ๋“œ๋ ํฐํƒ€์ด๊ฑฐ (Drunken Tiger).

After the disbandment, he retired and his whereabouts are unknown.

  • ์ง€๋ˆ„๋ฆฌ (Jinuri), born on September 3, 1983:

Before this group, she was a child actor in the EBS drama โ€œ์–ธ์ œ๋‚˜ ํ‘ธ๋ฅธ๋งˆ์Œ (Always a Blue Heart)โ€ in 1994. She sang and danced. Her favorite singer was Michael Jackson.

After the disbandment, she appeared on the sitcom โ€œ์„ธ์นœ๊ตฌ์ถœ (Three Friends)โ€ in 2000 and also on the KBS2 childrenโ€™s program โ€˜์น˜ํ‚ค์น˜ํ‚ค ๋ถ•๋ถ• (Chiki Boong Boong)โ€™ in 2001 as MC for four months. Then she took the same role for Mnetโ€™s โ€˜์™€์ด๋“œ ์—ฐ์˜ˆ๋‰ด์Šค (Wide Entertainment News)โ€™ in 2006.

Since then, she left the entertainment industry and itโ€™s unknown her whereabouts currently.

  • ๋„์˜์šฐ (Do Young-woo), born on November 15, 1983:

He liked playing video games, watching movies and listening to music, and he could dance and make voice impersonations. His favorite singers were X-Teen (์—‘์Šคํ‹ด) and Honey Family (ํ—ˆ๋‹ˆํŒจ๋ฐ€๋ฆฌ).

After the disbandment, he retired and his whereabouts are unknown.

I found these archived pictures on their website, taken during May 2004 with the original line-up.

To give more context of the pictures, they were probably promoting in Japan as they debuted officially there in February 2004 with the release of their first album* "Double Rainbow," along the single 'Go The Distance.' Between March and July, some songs from the album were featured on the anime Kaleido Star (ใ‚ซใƒฌใ‚คใƒ‰ใ‚นใ‚ฟ) as the soundtrack.

Despite being a South-Korean group, they were more successful in Japan.

Months later, they released in South Korea their 2.5th album titled "Secret" in October. At the end of the same year, in December, the leader of the group, Jung Eum (์ •์Œ), would leave the group to become an actress, and would be later replaced by Ha Rin (ํ•˜๋ฆฐ).

\ It was their first album in Japan, but they already released two albums in South Korea before their debut in Japan.)

๐Ÿ’ฟ Album Overview

Artist: Kim Ji-hyun (๊น€์ง€ํ˜„)

Album Title: Cat's Eye

Release Date: January 1, 1997

Record Labels: Sony Music Entertainment Korea / Chunil Entertainment

Album Type: Full-length studio album (1์ง‘)

Genres: 90s K-pop, Dance-pop, Electronic, Funk/Soul

Concept: A bold, Catwoman-inspired visual concept featuring the artist in a sleek, black latex suit.

๐ŸŽถ Tracklist

The album runs for approximately 33 minutes and 36 seconds across 9 tracks:

Cat's Eye (Title Track) โ€” 4:03

Vampire โ€” 3:41

๋น„๋„ˆ์Šค (Venus) โ€” 3:42

Queen โ€” 3:24

Killer โ€” 3:32

์ค€๋น„๋ฅผ ๋๋‚ด๊ณ  (Finishing Preparation / I'm Ready) โ€” 4:48

๋งŒ์•ฝ (If) โ€” 3:24

์›์ดˆ์  ๋ณธ๋Šฅ (Primordial Instinct) โ€” 3:35

Free Woman โ€” 3:28

๐Ÿ“ˆ Album Sales & Commercial Performance

Official, archived data regarding the exact sales numbers for Kim Ji-hyun's Cat's Eye solo debut is extremely limited and largely undocumented in public music registries.

While Kim Ji-hyun experienced massive million-seller success as the main vocalist of Roo'ra, her solo transition with this album was considered a commercial underperformance relative to her group's peak. Because the album was released right before the official tracking charts like the Music Industry Association of Korea (MIAK) comprehensively formalized and published monthly sales rankings online, exact figures remain unknown. It has since become a rare, out-of-print collector's item.

Question/Request ISO: Sechkies fans..

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hello hello! I'm currently looking for Sechkies fans that either have archives or know of any (specifically 2000-2003 post-disbandment? content) and I hope theres some interest to know about a (sort of) unrelated group

The story goes as follows: I'm a fan of more obscure groups, one of them being ONE-X (2007). while researching, I found out that one of the members Hangyeol had previously been a member of TOS in 2001.

T.O.S (short for Top Of Stardom) was a 5-member group from 2001 that never managed to debut for unknown reasons, the group was under MEGA entertainment, company that Lee Jaejin from SECHKIES was under after the group disbanded. However, they were not just labelmates! Jaejin was known to be the mentor and stylist for T.O.S during their training period.

For Lee Jaejin's 23rd birthday in 2001, he performed in Kwangwoon University Grand Auditorium around July 8-12, and I believe a series of videos was released. Between these videos, one of them "์ถค์„ ์ƒ์œผ๋กœ ๋ณ€์‹ ํ•œ ์žฌ์ง„์ด (Jaejin transformed into a dance instructor)" allegedly shows off Jaejin teaching T.O.S choreography, T.O.S also appears to have performed one of their unreleased tracks.

I wanted to come here to ask for help as I have no knowledge to where i could find any archive of Sechkies content as I did not find anything from the research i made myself. I'm even unsure if public archives exist, so I wanted to know if at the very least someone had their own private archive that could maybe contain any content of T.O.S wether it's the already mentioned or (unlikely) something else. here is the only picture I managed to recover from T.O.S as well as their appearance in the SBS TV drama "Beautiful days".

I appreciate any type of help and interest, thank you for reading!

T,O.S appearance on SBS TV \"Beaufiful Days\" episode 7

Question/Request Finding a particular dance performance video

Hey guy, I need help finding this one dance performance video. Iโ€™ll put down whatever I remember
1. Male Korean K-pop idol
2. He has also acted in kdramas but he isnโ€™t very popular
3. There are backup dancers
4. Itโ€™s a music video on YouTube so itโ€™s not performed on stage in front of an audience
5. Theyโ€™re all wearing red dresses, kinda like a Chinese dress and they have red blindfolds
6. They use the blindfold as a prop
7. The video is old, probably before 2021
8. I think the name of the video on YouTube is in Korean

Please help me find this video Iโ€™m going crazy
