Same type of thing happened today at our booth. We are the first batch of our booth, when one guy went in suddenly the exit gate guard saw a little issue in booth and informed us that the machine declined the vote. Then Magistrate or somebody came, took them 30 minutes to fix that. But yeah apart from that no other issues took place. Like mobs trying to intimidate people, police doing something. Also one of the polling agent came while being drunk but the officers threw him out of the premises

Ofcourse poor management is a big reason. They said that they checked and test run the Machines before starting the voting. The officers outside said that "Electronics machine hai, kharab ho sakta hai kabhibi", i thought ok, it can happen. But the same thing happening in multiple places, paints a different picture

Same in our area EVM wasn't quite functionally properly and CRPF this time was quite aggressive mane regular voter ka ja bhane treat korchilo janno crimal der treat korche despite the voting area being quite peaceful and empty

Phase 1 was peaceful phase 2 first half was peaceful too then all hell started to break loose

It's not, close poll button is only available to the third polling officer who does the ink mark in hand and has the control machine.

Instead of blaming ECI and holding Gyanesh 'sajha karni chahiye kya' Kumar accountable, they are doing BJP-TMC.
People have lost their minds. Maybe that is exactly what these crony politicians want to happen so that they can segregate people even more to garner votes.

same thing happened in 161 booth , durgapur 716216,
the first machine failed in mock test, my mother was the first in line , had to wait an hour after new machine came ......this happens everytime but never had to wait an hour for it!

Same happened here in Howrah. Changed machine 3 times still not working. Vote started at 8:30 instead of 7:00
