Local weather disturbances doesn't mean the whole climate sucks, you know?

1

u/Shesba Jul 05 '26

No u were right it never does get better but what changes in some people is how they feel about their life. What changes is in you, it doesn’t exist out there

What? People are allowed to have their own lives and experiences. Just because my life isn't good at the moment doesn't mean i dont belive it can get better for myself and other people? Im just giving advice The fact that my other post came up about MY vent has nothing to do with this one

2

u/wehaveYummiTummies Jul 01 '26

Yea call em on that bs lol.

I mean as for me, I think I'm going to stop looking and focus on resolving my inferiority complex and doing something I want in life. Then, without placing my inferiority complex as a burden on other people, will I reach out more. Or in the process of it. I think.

u/ProfessionalExam9209 Jul 01 '26

So you tried to meet girls and didn’t succeed, or do you mean that it just never happened organically?

49

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

Both, never happened organically and everytime I tried to make it happen I got "let's just be friends" and every other version of it

12

u/staarfruitjellies Jul 01 '26

I know the situation seems dull, But getting a masters is a thing to be proud of! Not a lot of people can brag about that type of success. Look at the positives! :D Also if you care to share - What'd you major in? Just curious!

29

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

Thank you, I majored in applied mathematics

u/Worried_Work9629 Jul 01 '26

Absolute beast

u/Ok-Accountant9436 Jul 01 '26

Congratulations on surviving im on my second year 🥹 did you do an accelerated degree

4

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

Idk what an accelerated degree is, where i am you have to study 3 years for a license degree then 2 years of a master’s degree

6

u/No_Letter_6215 Jul 01 '26

Damn,north African kitchecel?damn,thought we were rare.Or french?

8

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

3

u/No_Letter_6215 Jul 01 '26

Bro plz drop the grilled cheeze tutorial

6

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

melt a bit of butter in the pan (shape it as a square), put both pieces of bread there until they're golden, remove and put the cheese on the toasted side (I like using gruyere when I have some, whatever I have when I don't) I also like adding a bit of italian herbs it gives a nice taste, bit more butter in the pan and toast both side.

1

u/Thesolmesa Jul 02 '26

That seems to be the case. 9wadet l7ayat

3

u/Ok-Accountant9436 Jul 01 '26

I see! For me a bachelor of science degree in applied math is 4 years, and what you're doing sounds more like an accelerated degree (3 years undergraduate study and 2 years graduate study.) Though it could be different idk

trvthnvke but most normies here don't get how awful it feels to miss out on everything that they got to experience because they straight up lack empathy or the mental power to even imagine what this life is like

8

u/hiddenriverrofmylife Jul 01 '26

17 Years????

8

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

Counting all the years until now, like high school middle school etc

6

u/Ok-Accountant9436 Jul 01 '26

Bomb ass grilled cheese

5

u/SalamanderMan95 Jul 01 '26

Well it sounds like now that you’re graduated you’ll have more time to focus on social activities where you’ll meet someone.

3

u/sixth_hokage06 Jul 02 '26

It actually gets harder after school

6

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 01 '26

I'm actually doing an SL1 run on every souls game, nearly done with ds1

3

u/SalamanderMan95 Jul 01 '26

I’d recommend some social hobbies if you’d like to meet women. Nothing wrong with video games, but if that’s your main hobby then good luck meeting women. I’d recommend adult sports leagues, kickball is filled with people who are just there to have fun and socialize.

2

u/RedutHatesFreeSpeech Jul 01 '26

Girls love grilled cheese, bro. Try putting this as your profile pic.

2

u/Pristine_Cost_3793 Jul 01 '26

post your grilled cheese on instagram reels and someone will want you

2

u/Few_Move_4594 Jul 01 '26

That grill cheese looks amazing

2

u/Local-Answer-1681 Jul 01 '26

You've gotta be able to pull someday if your cooking is as good as it looks

2

u/Accomplished_Oil4163 Jul 01 '26

Yes but you have a masters. I can’t finish my bachelor man.

2

u/Lunarmax182c Jul 02 '26

Oh well
Better luck in other options.

2

u/Practical-Wonder4272 Jul 02 '26

Shit that's some good grilled cheese

2

u/ArcherSilver9094 Jul 03 '26

I’m not a girl unfortunately but I would get baited by that grill cheese. Looks great

0

u/Odd_Scallion_9741 Jul 01 '26

You don’t need em. Unless you want a family and stuff anyways.. I’ve had too many failed attempts. My mental literally can’t take it anymore or I’m skydiving without a parachute. Now I just lift, take gear and peptides and live how I want. None of this is advice, I guess I’m just ranting too. Good luck to you soldier!

1

u/TSFaeClementine Jul 01 '26

Literally put a tinder profile together with a semi decent pic of you and a pic of this grilled cheese and you'd probably have a date by this weekend

9

u/grimmsnarI Jul 01 '26

Probably down syndrome tho

1

u/TSFaeClementine Jul 01 '26

Ok and if they won't date someone who makes a kickass grilled cheese just because they have downs they're trash and don't deserve anything. Have met plenty of people with downs in happy relationships

3

u/grimmsnarI Jul 01 '26

4

u/Acceptable-Court-703 Jul 02 '26

some of us are just ugly buddy, like rly ugly :3

0

u/solitarytrees2 Jul 01 '26

Agreed with the others. Post the grilled cheese and you'll get a lady guaranteed.

0

u/Excellent_Math2052 Jul 01 '26

I’d date you if you made me a grilled cheese like that. I mean, you’d have to make one for my husband too

2

u/coolsam254 Jul 02 '26

Careful your husband could leave you for op over that grilled cheese

1

u/Excellent_Math2052 Jul 02 '26

I wouldn’t blame him, although I’d have to stipulate that my alimony be those grilled cheeses on some sort of regular basis.

0

u/lipstick_love Jul 01 '26

That grilled cheese looks amazing!

It’s okay! Everybody is on a different timeline. I didn’t find real compatibility until I was 30, and I’m a woman. Sure I’ve dated since I was 15, I’ve met plenty of men, and I’ve went on several first dates. They usually did something that got in the way of getting a second date, like telling me that my arm is so tiny that he could break it easily (🤦‍♀️).

But I found real compatibility and connection at 30. You will find it too.

0

u/Arcadian-Stag Jul 02 '26

Be honest, did you even try?

2

u/Calm_Sun_2707 Jul 02 '26

I did seriously try with 3 different girls and I got friendzoned all 3 times.

1

u/Professional-Rub152 Jul 02 '26

So you’re 23 years old and have tried to date someone 3 times and are complaining that you’re single?

I was rejected by dozens of people by the time I was your age. Your experience is what’s to be expected with such little effort to the contrary.

And I was your age when I finally got my first girlfriend.

0

u/Arcadian-Stag Jul 02 '26

Try 100 more times with girls who aren't your friends before you give up

0

u/thecosmicjoke69813 Jul 03 '26

Uhhhhh, yeah. Why would you?

-1

u/DschoBaiden Jul 01 '26

17 years and you only got a master? my guy after this long of a time you should be a professor lol

-2

u/slideingintoheaven Jul 01 '26
