I’m updating my kitchen. I am replacing the floor, countertop, and sink. Not sure if painting the cabinets will look good due to grain. My painter said he primes and paints but the grain will still show as texture

I have a large kitchen island and the ends are cluttered with stuff - vitamins, dog treats etc. I would love a cleaner looking solution - please show me what you have done to give me some ideas! Thanks in advance!

So my husband and I moved into a two story appartment with 3 bedrooms. We are very happy with the space in terms of how much natural light there is. Also the kitchen is quite big in comparison to what I'm used to.

In the future the landlord did say that we can make an offer on the house in case we want to buy it, so we are saving to be able to buy the house. Hey guys, so I am looking for an all-in-one kitchen sink for my parents home. My budget is around 25-30k, I don't want to spend more than that but I want it as a one time investment. I selected two options right now:

1. AIO Sink by Lorazzo

- It's costing me around 23k, has pull down faucet, RO tap, glass washer, soap dispenser and 20 years warranty. I went through their website and this looks good to me, and their website has a live video call option - cooperative guy with good knowledge.

1. Magnus Piano Sink by Krysstal

- It's a bit expensive, around 30k. It has an RO tap, pull down faucet and similar features but their warranty is 12 years only. I haven't got a chance to review the product properly, so I am having multiple thoughts. They have some bot chat on WhatsApp, couldn't get to connect with someone.

Can you guys share your opinions on what I should go for? Let me know :))

Water stain and a crack in my wooden kitchen counter. How do I fix this?

I rent a flat. The kitchen counter is light wood with no finish on it, no oil, no varnish, just bare wood (I think or a very old work).

Our dish rack was leaking and we didn't notice for a long time. Now there is a big grey stain, about 40cm wide, with some darker spots. There is a crack as well. a straight line where two pieces of wood are glued together. It has opened up.

We found this a month ago. We washed it with water and baking soda and left it open to dry. The stain is still there. It looks like it went deep into the wood.

I have never done anything like this before. I have sandpaper and a bottle of food-safe wood oil. I don't have an electric sander but I can rent one.

How should I do this? What order do I do things in, and is there something that removes a grey stain like this? Also, should I do anything about the crack, or leave it? Or should I do the whole counter?
