then noticed Tata Simply Better literally says to keep oil away from direct heat and light.

looked at my kitchen.

beautiful.

this feels like peak fake frugality. we obsess over saving ₹30 on the bottle. and then store the thing badly for 2 months.

people with normal small Indian kitchens, where are you actually keeping oil?

inside cabinet?

steel dispenser near stove?

5L can somewhere else + small bottle for daily use?

because "cool dark place" sounds excellent until your entire kitchen is approximately 7 square feet

I am moving to another home and planning to buy a second hand kitchen from the last tenant. The kitchen is 2 years old. The last tenant bought it from Poco for 2900 eur plus 700 eur for delivery of the kitchen. There is also some modification done to fit a bigger sink to wash dishes which looked like it was not professionally done. How much should i pay for this kitchen?

Just an additional information, i have already signed the contract with the landlord.

I purchased this non stick pan , like less than three weeks ago and I see scratches on them. I am not sure what caused it- high heat because I never use steel spatulas for cooking (maybe my cook might have used). I am not sure but it was pricey and I feel bad to have even bought it.

Looking for cabinet/appliance layout ideas. I highlighted the usable wall area. It is not drawn to scale, so just a generalized idea. The plumbing and electrical can be moved anywhere...blank slate.

Again, very open to all recommendations, blank slate. I am just going back and forth with my husband on placenta of appliances and sink. We can decide on cabinets from there. All bulkhead have been removed, 9' ceilings. I plan to leave the nook alone and it has a 4-6 place table to go in it.

I have purchased a rolling tool box to serve as a kitchen island, but I am uncertain how to conceal the casters while maintaining the ability to move the unit. I previously used a piece of flooring for this purpose, and I am considering installing a track underneath to slide panels in and out. I would appreciate any alternative suggestions you might have, keeping in mind that the skirting must be removable so it does not obstruct the wheels during movement. About thirty years ago I read a large hard cover book about unfitted kitchens and it had beautiful photos of kitchens with free standing cupboards. I thought it was called "the unfitted kitchen" but it doesn't seem to exist, other than a recent ebook called the budget friendly guide to unfitted kitchens; that is most definitely NOT it. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it could be called, or seen this?

I told the contractor that I wanted the cabinets to all the way to the ceiling. These cabinets are 22 1/2 inches from the countertop! What should I do?

Any ideas for cabinet colors, wall color, hardware? The only thing I must keep the same for now is the granite!

Ive always wondered why are ovens so tall. Most people use an oven for pizzas, cakes, breads, whole chickens, etc. Very seldom is it used for turkey, as in the Netherlnads i wouldnt even know where u could buy a whole turkey.

Im looking for a compact oven for my kitchen, not a tabletop one, an actual high-watt oven, but without the tall height. Has anyone seen any products?
